Disney Junior Dance Party

Hello!

We have been to the Disney Junior Dance Party several times in the past during evening extra magic hours at Hollywood Studios. Can anyone confirm if they are still doing them? We are going in December and I would like to factor this in if it is still happening. With all of the changes in that park, I don't want to assume anything... Thanks so much!

There were numerous reports (a couple months ago?) that this is no more.

It's sad because it was one of our favorite things.

Just thought I would share with others... I emailed Disney for an "official" answer, and here is what I got...

"Thank you for contacting the Walt Disney World® Resort.

Disney Junior Dance Party is a seasonal offering. We do still have that particular attraction, however, as it is seasonal, we do not know until it is offered as to when it will be available. The best way to be sure is to check the Times Guide at Disney's Hollywood Studios for the schedule. That will have the up to date activities for the night.

If you have questions or need further assistance, feel free to contact us."

Um... It was never "seasonal" as far as I know, and also, how does it help me to get the Times Guide the day of, when I need to plan everything 180 days out?

Very frustrating! Not sure I want to brave EMH level crowds for a "maybe" on the Dance Party...

I think most people within the Entertainment division would translate it as: #ThanksShanghai.

Meaning, for now it isn't being offered but it could possibly return as it was an EMH offering, before the mandatory cutbacks, geared for families with young kids.

It doesn't help at all because DJDP was a PM EMH offering and would not be in the DHS Times Guide anyway.

I am pretty sure the CM was "confused" and is referring to the new "Club Disney".

Back again - spoke to Disney Parks Customer Service person who went and spoke with a supervisor. It is definitely closed. She said that they may occasionally, "do it as a spur of the moment thing and have it take place some days without notice", but frankly, that seems unlikely. Very sad about this. It was a really nice experience for the littler kids. Just wanted to confirm - thanks to everyone who responded.

This is actually the one thing I'm truly angry and upset about them getting rid of. There isn't much at HS for little kids to do during EMH. This was perfect.
