DVC member since 2007, living in Ontario. I have been to Disney World at least 20 times. For 14 years I have been a primary teacher. Every night I dream about working at Disney. How would I go about getting a job? I would be willing to do anything! Since I currently teach kindergarten, something in recreation/arts and crafts would be ideal. Has anyone had a similar experience? Advice?

Cultural Representative Program

One of the greatest benefits of the Disney International Programs is the experience gained while working as a Cultural Representative. This is an opportunity to work and learn from one of the world's leading entertainment and hospitality companies!

In the Cultural Representative Program, participants share their culture and customs with our Guests who visit from all over the world. To qualify for this program, participants must authentically represent one of the countries or regions we have recreated in look and feel at the Walt Disney World® Resort.

Participants in this program will work in Food and Beverage, Attractions, Kidcot or Merchandise at one of the themed pavilions at Epcot® World Showcase; in Guest Relations at one of our four theme parks or the Downtown Disney® Area; or at Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park or Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.

In this role, participants will have the opportunity to share the unique culture and customs of their country with Guests, while handling the specific position's traditional responsibilities. The Cultural Representative Program is a 12-month experience, although program length may vary with the country/position offered.

Thanks for the info regarding this program. It sounds amazing. There's just one problem. Can an international worker bring their family with them? If not, I would need to search for a "summer only" position.

No.

They used to have a program for students for the summer but I'm not sure if they still do.

You would not be able to work for Disney without a working Visa.
