Are you talking about the square charms with a picture of a character? I do not know if they sell these. I did not see any last August. They do have silver charms in many of the gift shops.

Each of the parks now has a shop that sells these type of charms...

Epcot...Italy jewlery shop to the left of the courtyard

MGM...NOt sure of name...I think it is on Hollywood Blvd....It is part of a string of shops and is small where they sell finer jewelry....

Magic Kingdom...not sure where but I think it was the Jewlery store

I bought my wife one of these for Valentine's Day while we were there in January. I bought the starter bracelet and 3 charms at the World of Disney store where they sell watches and jewelry. I gave it to her early and she picked out some more charms in a jewely shop on Main Street in MK.

There are 2 differen't kinds of bracelets and charms - stainless steel and a lesser quality metal/plastic type. Tthe stainless steel items are in a glass display case and are more expensive ($25 - $60 each for charms if I remember correctly). The other ones can be found on those rotating display racks and are aroune $5 - $10 each. I mention this because I didn't know about the cheaper ones until after I had purchased the stainless steel bracelet and charms.

Have fun!

Believe me Grim, you will be happier having bought the stainless steel. These bracelets can take a lot of wear and tear, and the stainless hold up nicely, some of the others do not. I can't wait to check out the Disney collection myself week after next, as the Disney ones are hard to come by.

I did feel 'ripped off' after I bought the stainless ones, until I closely compared the 2 styles. The stainless ones are very well made, and have great detail. I would definately buy the stainless ones again (and I'm sure I will have to on our next trip ;) ).

I saw these in our local mall in a country shop. I forget the name but will find out.

If you want to have a head start before going to WDW, some Hallmark stores have the Disney charms as do some on-line vendors.

We were just at Disney 2/1-2/8 and also collect those charms. I bought so many at the World of Disney store in Downtown Disney. They are located in the jewelry section and there's tons! I bough my daughter Tinkerbell and Tigger and my coworkers ones with a gold Mickey on them. I bought myself a Mickey head studded in cz! Hope this helps!

Are Italian charms the same as regular charms? I know what a regualr charm is like, but how is an Italian charm different? What is the cost of these charms? Anyone know of any links so we can check them out?

Thanks,
Louise

Check out the website dollsandducks.com When you get the homepage click on Italian charm bracelets and then click on the Disney link. They sell quite a few different Disney charms. The Disney charms will fit on different brands of bracelets.

Well, they say the originator is Nomination, and that is what they sell in the shop in Italy at WSC. They also have a cart outside the shop that sells the Disney charms. I didn't see the cart mentioned.

This was almost as bad as getting started on the pins. All the Mom's at DD's school wanted to kill me when we got back as their DD's were wanting the bracelet!!:D

My husband surprised me for valentine's day with the disney italian charm bracelet as well. DH bought mine at our local jewelry store the bracelet itself has the word Walt Disney Co. on it and suppose to be the exact same one at Walt Disney World and charms as well. So definitely try your local jewelry store. They run about $26.00 and up for the charms.

We just went to Magic Kingdom over the weekend and I happened to go into the Emporium on Main Street and see them...They had a limited supply and these were NOT stainless steel....BUT, they were only $3 each...I was shocked! It was the first time I've seen anything as a "Deal" in Disney. They only had about 5-6 styles. I know they won't hold up as well as the others that I have but I felt like it was worth a try at $3/piece!

If I remember correctly, they were located not in the big section of that store....about 3 store fronts are all connected and these were in the middle area with other little jewelry items.

Good Luck!

These bracelets are really popular right now.
If you search for Zoppini or Zoppini Disney you can find out about the bracelets and the charms. My daughter is getting the bracelet for her birthday with a couple of non Disney charms - going to Disney in August and will get her some Disney charms then.

Does anyone know how much the starter bracelet is - that is without the charms. I have seen the Zoppini starter bracelets in the malls but never the Disney starters.

Shiny link bracelets are about 8 dollars and matte finish ones are about 10 dollars. The starter bracelets are not expensive, it's the charms you add!:)
