Disney Italian charm bracelets

I have to tell you all that I have been "lurking", as my DH calls it, on the Dis Boards for almost 2 years and this is the first time I have ever had a real discussion going. This is so much fun!!!

I've noticed that some of you had Ya Ya Sisters on your posts, did you all see the YaYa Sister charm???

Yep Sandi, you have it right with how the bracelets work! I have about 11 blank charms right now that I will eventually turn into a bracelet. Oh and yep, we've seen the Ya Ya charm

Marilyn, I use an unbent paperclip sometimes. Most of the time my fingernails & fingers can get it right w/o the tool.

Can anyone just jump in on this conversation? Another "lurker" here...

Anyway, it looks like many of the charms on the Italiancharms sight are gold (in color at least). Is this the case? I know most of the Zoppini type ones that I have seen in the past are all silver in color.

Boy, these sure do look fun!!! I can see that once you start it would be difficult to stop. I LOVE the Daisy one!

Deb, almost all of the charms are silver bases with either gold, crystals or enamel on top. I know a lot of the charms look all gold based on the lighting but they aren't. They would be a lot more expensive if they were all gold I think Hope that helps! Enjoy... it can be addicting

What does everyone think of the "new" base one that Kama89 posted the picture? I think it is beautiful! It REALLY looks gold in color doesn't it? Do you think that it is silver?

This is fun, but confusing at first I think. Sorry for the dumb questions.

No question is dumb. Ask away! We love talking charm bracelets. (and our husbands love paying for them )

Just went to Carina site. The description for the Mickey base is "sterling silver". A lot of their SS looks gold on the website. Oh boy, they have some other really pretty base bracelets and links too...gold plated with sterling edge, and sterling with a dark green edge.....

Ok, now that you have "hooked" me and I have not even gotten my first braclet yet, PLEASE tell me more about the laser etched designs of your own. Where do you find info on that? How cool would those be?

Also, any hints on giving hints to your DH? I sent him an e-mail with the link of the braclet I "built". Not very subtle but I hope it works. And where do you find out about the "new" designs that come out? Just keep checking the websites?

Sorry for all of the questions. These braclets are something I could REALLY get into. Uh oh.....
