This kind of makes me miss the old days of cars with manual choke. You shut off the engine and pull the choke. The won't start until you clear the engine. If you're good it it can take you awhile.

The only places/companies that are anti-Uber are the ones that have a financial interest when it comes to the taxi companies. Uber is rapidly taking over taxi market share, so it impacts places that have an agreement with the taxi companies. This is why Uber airport pick-ups are prohibited in some areas. I don't know what Disney's arrangement with Mears is, but that could be why some CMs may be bent out of shape about Uber.

Probably not. Uber drivers drive their own vehicles, so I think you'd be hard pressed to find an Uber driver that was equipped to transport an ECV. And there is no way to request one or note this prior to requesting an Uber trip through the app.

I actually had one last night. It came apart in three pieces and loaded right in. They had got it from a local rental place (i dont recall the name). So the portability and size of the unit is going to be important. I had three passengers plus the ecv in the back with my third row folded down. This was an uberXL.

If your ECV can be put into a trunk then most Uber drivers are more than willing to accommodate. You can also request UberXL which may cost a little more but usually have bigger backs. Most do not have ramps though.

Yes - agreeing with RideShareRob and wilkeliza. I should clarify that I assumed Uber drivers couldn't transport ECVs, but I was envisioning a full ECV with ramp and/or the piece on the back of the vehicle that ECV straps into. I suspect must drivers aren't equipped for that. But I would agree that it if it can come apart and be lifted into a vehicle, UberX may work or UberXL to be on the safe side. You could always request UberX and see what kind of car it is picking you up, and call the driver if you think it will be borderline.

After dinner, we came back and the guard at the WL gave us a hard time. "IS SHE UBER!? IS SHE AN UBER DRIVER!?" the guard stated to us rudely many times. I stated nope, she's just a friend who went to dinner with me.

Uber means they're there to drop you off. A guest could be there to park. More likely, they're worried about detailing the parking policy and/or printing a permit. In other words, if she was an uber driver, they'd probably be less interested, not more.
