Disney is a Hot Mess right now

It all boils down to personal preference. One person or group of person’s Disney experience is NEVER the same. Not everyone wants to get up and glow at Riviera. Not everyone wants to go to EVERY park in one day or otherwise. It’s only worth it if you truly enjoy.

Revenue for Disney’s domestic parks was up 6% to $5.86 billion. I read elsewhere that attendance was down 1%, so it would seem to me that they have found a perfect balance of visitor count vs. profitability.

And they are working on multiple park expansions, that will boost attendance in coming years.

The parks are more expensive, which is pricing out some people and creating sticker shock in others, but the business strategy looks solid now.

The value is certainly diminishing. I am taking a break from the parks for a few years and hoping to return once a major part of this current construction is done

Planning a Disney cruise for next year and maybe a couple of resort days before that. Maybe, by 2028 I might return for a bit? Hopefully there will be more to offer for the money by then. Who really knows?
