disney information

wasn't sure where to post this or if it was information the team wanted to know. my college son was supposed to have a disney internship this summer in nyc (signed and sealed agreement) but today was told it was cancelled and all abc disney summer internships are cancelled (which of course included his). so clearly they are tightening budget for summer. and would not roll over into fall because they said they may not have for the fall either. he was so excited when he got it as it was the only slot offered and he got in....of course at his age, super disappointed as he should be....(he's not into the 'we are all healthy' speech at the moment)....goes to show you where summer is going .... and not in a good way

@disneyworldsk Awwww - poor kid. Tel ll iim I'm so sorry he's been a casualty of all this, and I can't blame him for being majorly disappointed.

It is a major drag and I can understand his disappointment. He has to remember he made the cut and this was totally outside his control. One door closes and another opens, but I'm sure he's not ready to hear that either.

So disappointing for him. He should be so proud of what he has accomplished. I have a college ds at home disappointed from being moved home. It's tough. Please tell him to hang in there and we are rooting for him.

he's all good today. but i think it's interesting aspect in this regarding disney's business : saving money/budgeting for the upcoming months. shows where we are headed unfortunately..
