Disney Incentives to Book - Promotions - Wishes

I am anxiously awaiting what the new deal is going to be from the "somethings coming....." thread.

I posted on there that I thought that Disney has slacked off a little bit on their creativity of their promotions the last couple years. It's the same old thing - practically the same dollar amount off the hotel category, free dining or free upgrade for waterparks in January. Or the lame book a vacation for $1500. A few years ago - they had a promotion like pay for 4 - play for 7. That was different and felt like you were really getting a deal.

Would you like to see Disney invoke some more creativity with their offers?

What we be something things you would like to see?

I would like to see

1. No expiration upgrades when you stay a certain amount of days - 6 days or more on-site.
2. Pay for 2 adults - get a complimentary child's 3 day pass.
3. First time AP holders - renew the 2nd year with a 25% discount one time priviledge and then 10% each additional year if a reservation was made to stay on site during that year.

I know a lot of people love the free dining - but - in my opinion it is just too much food to eat. I would feel so bloated every day while on vacation if I ate all that.

I would love to get the no expiration option. It's costing a fortune to get new 10day PH no exp. for our next trip.

Amen to that! More to the point, you are able to book an AP rate at any level service AND it is available at the beginning of each year for the entire year! Now that would be a deal!

The dining thing, for me, is not that great a deal. I would much rather realize savings on my room only res (w/a decent discount--not some paltry 20%) than have free dining any day. The DDP is way too much food for our family AND we rarely eat CS or snacks. I prefer the DDE card for our dining discounts.

I have never gotten to take advantage of the really good deals because I always have to go in the summer when the kids are out of school.

I would love to see a really "special" offer for the summer months. A really great deal on room rates would be awesome!!

Going in February (President's day weekend) with HS marching band but only for a few days and we are staying off site. Of course that is supposed to be one of the busiest times of the year!

New code is up - pretty much the same type of deal we've seen before.

Free upgrades to park hopping and water parks.

I was hoping that it would be something different and not a discount we've seen before.
