:sunny: To all you canadians who have been to Disney during March break(second week of March): what should we expect, weatherwise and crowdwise? How often did you wear pants and jackets? How often did you go swimming? How did the crowds compare to summer crowds?

Any info will be appreciated!! THANKS!!!! :sunny: :sunny:

We went during March Break 2005 (TDSB) and it was busy. However, this partly due to the fact that the particular week in 2005 was the week before Easter and, for WDW, the week before and the week after Easter their two busiest weeks after Christmas / New Years.

The following is a link to a webpage created by the authors of the Unofficial Guide to WDW that takes a crack at estimating crowd levels on particular days. You will see that the later half of March is predicted to be quite busy and you can compare with their estimates for the summer months.

As far as weather, it was very pleasant. Mostly short sleeves and shorts. Never had a need for a coat. Only wore pants when I didn't want to look too casual when going for a nice dinner. I think it rained during parts of a couple of days during our 8 days down there. The weather was a a stark contrast to the oppressive heat and humidity of summertime in Orlando.

We usually stay for about 10 days or so-in 2005 I think there was one day where we needed long pants and a sweatshirt for the day-was pretty windy. Most other days you'd start out in shorts and a sweatshirt but it got pretty nice by about 11ish. Crowds were okay-lots of Cdns! Do make advanced seating resv. if you plan to eat at any sitdown places-you'll save alot of time and headache.

We were there in March the last two years--both were busy but no problem as long as you have a plan. We went back to the resort after lunch each day and went back to the parks for dinner and the evening. Worked out wonderfully. The weather was great both years. I believe we had one day last year that we needed sweatshirts and one evening we needed jackets. Other than that, we wore shorts and t-shirts every day. Have a great trip! :sunny: :sunny:

We always go at March break time. We go for 16 days and most times enjoy good seasonal 75-80 during day and 55-70 evenings. But in March 2004 the evenings were very cold. I remember doing the mini golfing at night time and usually had on my jeans, long sleeve top and a few times also my Columbia.as there was an awful wind. I think that year was an odd year for weather during March. We usually pack a couple of pairs of jeans just in case , we always have a washer and dryer in our unit.
