there is a big difference between the dream maker and the dream maker/silver in price? is it worth it for 2 wishes per person per day?

Hi Sarina  Welcome to the DIS !

If you ask this question on the resort board you might be able to get some help :)

For our first trip last year, I seriously considered using the silver plan. However, I added the cost of all the character meals we had planned (we did a bunch) plus the Hoop Dee Doo plus Cirque de Solei tickets and a huge amount of money for food each day for the other meals and still ended up spending less money than the silver plan would have cost.

Also, we were there in July as well and with it being so hot, we didn't eat that many big meals as we just didn't get as hungry. We found ourselves snacking more.

You might find help with this question on the Budget board as well. Good luck!!

And BTW.....

thank you to everyone who gave us such valuable information. my mom, son and I had a fabulous time. It was the first time my mom went to WDW and she loved it. The family is now planning on doing the Disney cruise next year. We will be cruising the boards again for tips!
