Hello,

I was wondering when the best time to visit Disney out of these 2 dates. February 5 - 11th or April 29th - May 6th. We have 2 childern ages 2 and 5 and will be staying in a 5th Wheel camper. We have been to Disney before and it was overly crowed but that was the end of March and early April.

I was thinking February just because it would be nice to get away from cold Virginia in the winter.

thanks in advance for any info

Josh

Hi and welcome to the DIS!

Both of the weeks you have picked should have crowds on the light side. But I want to alert you that February in Orlando is unpredictable: you could have days near 80 with cool mornings, or you could have mornings near freezing with afternoons in the 40s. So you may not get the weather you are bargaining for in February!

Good luck,
Bob

I thought going in Feb was really great bc there were really short lines. If you go in Feb pack gloves, shorts, long pants, light coat, ect. My friend went in May and said that it took like a hour to get on a ride. It is warmer though. I say Feb

I would pick february and risk the cooler temps. Compared to Iowa it would be warm to me :teeth:

When we went in October we found it very warm to have a young child out all day (23months). In the afternoon he would be very tired and hot due to the weather (we did take breaks of course but he is use to air conditioning all day). I told myself then that while my children are small we are only going in the winter.

We have never been in early Feb (although I hear the crowds are low). We have gone at the end of Feb (which gets busier but still bearable for crowds, great weather). We (as adults) found the temps to be very manageable and wore shorts and tshirts without much problem. We did swim once, and while it felt good in the pool, the walk back to the room was a bit chilly. :scared1:

I would pack the jackets and sweats, and try out February if I were to choose.

I'm hoping the Feb dates work well since we are going to be there Feb 4 thru 12. <gg> Hopefully we'll have great weather!
