Disney in August.

Ookkk. SO, I will be going to WDW in August [2007]. It will be my first time in August [ usually go in Nov. ] we will be there for 2 weeks and have a 10-day park hopper. I was wondering basically " How is WDW in August" too hot. too crowded. opinion please.

Hey, I'm going this August too.
It's very very hot.
And... last August, I went later in August... and it wasn't crowded at all. Longest line I waited for was 40 minutes :]]

But,
I've never been in early August lol.

I went last August. Like, the last week of August. So, everything I wrote was about later August.

I go in Augast every year! Its really hot but its not crowded at all!

Well, last year they had the Dining Pass thing so it was SO crowded. Other than that, it is pretty hoy so like they sad drink lots of water. "When isn't Disney crowded?" is the real question. So just take it easy, don't over do it.

Depends when in Augst you go, later august is very uncrowded. August is about the same hotness as june, july and september but a bit more prone to tropical storms.

We go every year, end of july, early august, latest in august we've ever been was prolly the 15th.
I love it then, its so warm,I'm a fan of extremely hot sweaty weather. haha

It is extremely warm, Tanks Shorts, lots of water! It's also very crowded. Those begining weeks are when everyone goes on vacation, before school and sports start up, but after all the summer camps. It's like international vacation week. lol

Lots of people, but if you have been there before you know what you want to do, use your time wisely, and there is nothign wrong with a day or two at the pool!

well it's boiling(but i dont notice that coz i love it)
the first 2 weeks are PACKED(plan carefully and you wouldn't know)

i'm going from the August 12th- september 2nd
it's not so crowded in later august.
it's still boiling
but heyy i'm going back then so it must be good

i'm going in august too!!!!!!!!!!!!!! well, my family usually takes a mid-day break and we go back to the hotel for a nap, at first i didn't like it but now i couldn't live without them---they r so refreshing!!!

I used to go all the time in august. It's wicked hot and you seriously need to carry around a water. My brother and I allways get dehydrated. And if you brun easily wear lots of sunscreen, but that's normal for anytime you go really. It's not too too crowded in august but it's disney so it's always gonna have people in it.

its not incredibly crowded, but the heat is enough to knock you down.
