I would say with 4 wee ones, I would book meals outside of the major times to eat. I would go a bit earlier, take the early times so you can get the wee ones into bed on time and rested for the fun days.
If your children would like a meal with characters Cafe Mickey in the Disney Village is a good choice, or we prefer the Inventions buffet in the Disneyland hotel. You have not said when you are visiting. If you want to see the parade you would be better booking your meals for after that (the parade is currently on at 5:30pm).
Many children like the rides in Fantasyland, however when we took my newphew last year (age 5) he preferred the rides in the Walt Disney Studios Park (he loved the cars Rally and Slinky Dog's Zig Zag Spin.) If you have children who want to meet the princesses then a trip to the Princess Pavilion would be good for you. Make sure you get at autograph book and a chunky pen for the characters to use to sign with.
