Debating on were to stay for a disney honeymoon. It's my third time but my future husbands first. I've been eyeing Boardwalk Inn and Wilderness lodge but can't seem to decide btwn the two. And sometimes I even consider Animal Kingdom, Contemporary and Port Orleans (to save money). Any suggestions or thoughts?

First off, :welcome: to the DIS!

A little more information may allow us to better help you. What time of year are you visiting and, if it is a warm time of year, do you plan on making much use of the pool? Do you expect that you will spend the majority of your time in a particular park/area? Which themes appeal most to you and your fiance? Are you on any sort of budget?

Will be glad to help once I have a better sense of your situation. :)

We plan to go in April of 2013. I would like to spend some time at the pool and at the resort area. I stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter last time and didn't get to enjoy the pool at all. Since we plan to be there for a week hoping for some downtime at our resort.
Oh and our price point is around $4,500 we can go a bit over or we can go under...but thats the limit we set.

We stayed at POR for our honeymoon so I'm partial to that resort. Actually, it was the old Dixie Landings back then.

Try considering what you most want to do...have more amenties at the hotel, therefore go deluxe. Want to do several special meals? Save on the room by getting a moderate and put the savings towards dining. Lots of little extras - boat rentals, bike rentals, tours, etc.? Again, save by staying moderate. There's no right or wrong answer.

Congratuations and enjoy your honeymoon!
