Disney Honeymoon Gift Registry

I know this was posted a while ago, but I just went to the site and it says to register so they can email you when the service is available. At first I thought it just meant like you register and they email you and once you confirm your email address you can access the site. However, it looks like it's not even up and running yet. Anyone know?

Last I heard it will be going live February 14th.

I wonder why they picked that date!

Just wanted to post that you can now acess the site to see different ideas and samples of what will be available. I haven't checked yet, but it looks like (if you already have a reservation number for your trip) you can get started now

ETA: I'm trying, but it's not accepting my reservation #. I even took the C off the front of it. Does it not accept ressies made through group reservations?? That would be ridiculous since that's what most brides book through...

Has anyone used it yet? I'm booked for a custom wedding, so my confirmation number starts with a letter since it's from group reservations and the honeymoon registry won't accept it. I tried to just enter it without the letter on the front and it still said it was invalid :confused3 Anyone else having trouble?

I'm all signed up for it :D

I had to use my hotel/cruise reservation number rather than my wedding number.

Found the Honeymoon Registry during my daily daydreaming fix, planning for our Sept '08 trip - LOVE the idea that people can "buy" us activities we want to do! My question is this:

DF & I are eloping, phoning the parents & siblings, then sending out an e-mail to extended family & friends saying we've done the deed & are going to DW for our honeymoon. Is there any "polite" way of pointing out the registry to them if they CHOOSE to get us something? We really don't expect gifts, but I know some people will want to & I'd MUCH rather have them do this, then receive their idea of what towels I should have in my bathroom!!

(BTW, if anyone saw my WDW reluctant fiance thread, he's agreed to go because I want it so much!!!!) :dance3:
