Disney Hollywood Studios?

I like it. I will still call it MGM because that's what I'm used to, but really MGM isn't a big studio anymore and was never associated with Disney in much more than name and sponsorship only.

I like Disney Hollywood Studios because when I walk into the park and start walking down that main strip, I really get the feeling of being in old-time Hollywood. That's what I love about the park so I think it's a fitting, appropriate name and it makes perfect sense.

I just hope they don't Pixarize the park too much. If they are going for more of a classic Hollywood theme and feel, it would make more sense to add new attractions based on classic movies. Since they have that big giant sorcerer's hat blocking the lovely Chinese theater, you'd think they would put a Fantasia attraction somewhere.

I heard they did that because They have to pay royalties to the owner of the real chinese theater in any advertising material and this way they can scan the front of the park during commercials and not catch the theater...not sure if it is true or not though

The name is growing on me. I wasn't thrilled by it at first. I'll probably still call it MGM for a while after the change occurs.
