We are going to go to Hollywood Studios for one day in a few weeks. Planning on going on a Monday. Will be going with older teens. We will not be staying at a Disney property.

We obviously want to do Rise of the Resistance. Then any of the other rides geared towards older teens.

And have a better meal for lunch or dinner.

Anyone have suggestions on best way to plan our day so we are not waiting in line all day and restaurants suggestions?

This is our first time going here - we have gone to all of the other parks on prior visits.

Thanks in advance!

HS is the most challenging park for me! It is always busy. If you want to maximize your day I would say definitely buy Genie+ and consider buying ILL for Rise. If Slinky Dog is a priority that should be your first LL selection right at 7am as it goes quick.

Talk with your family and figure out top 3 or 4 things they want to do and go from there.

As far as restaurants Sci-Fi Dine-in could be fun but it is a hard reservation to get. You could also consider the Fantasmic Dining Pkg if seeing that is a top priority.

Rope Drop will be important, get there early.

This might be where previous poster suggestion of "Fantasmic Package" might be an advantage. If not interested in Fantasmic, that opens up some end of park hours options for last ride ( particularly headliners)

G+ is a must, learn it and constantly refresh when using. LL for SDD, Rope Drop ToT. Skip the shows in favor of rides.
