I am in trip planning mode. I read in some thread that some of the crowds at DHS leave after 2 p.m. Can any of you confirm that? Thanks!

I can't confirm from first hand knowledge, but it makes some sense. 2 is when park hopping is allowed. But it also means that the guests who leave HS may be replaced by hoppers that started at other parks that morning

May depend on the month that you go, but I went in late August and didn't notice a difference in the amount of people or line wait times after 2 PM.

I had a good experience doing this in November. It was a Sunday evening on a non holiday weekend and temps were a bit cooler, so that may have been a factor. I went to see the holiday decorations but had a surprisingly short wait for RotR at the end of the night. Was off the ride in time to catch the nighttime show that closed the park.
