Disney has spoiled us

DH here.

(Not fanatic about planning anything at all, by the way.)

I had a great time on the trip, and the girls and I owe it all to PFM.

Here are some points:

- I liked Riverside, but the main complaint I had about the Bayou was the fact that no paths led directly where I needed to go. It was easy to get lost there. That annoyed me.

- I was disappointed by Space Mountain breaking down so much.

- Test track was much better this year. (I think they have the bugs worked out.)

- Not crazy about the food selection at Riverside, it seemed like French Quarter offered more.

- The singers at American Experience were amazing, but I really liked Four for a Dollar!

- MGM was my favorite this year.

- The drive wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

- I liked the boat ride to Downtown Disney.

-I've decided that the best strategy is to plan to go places where the majority of people are not. We never took advantage of magical hours, because the bus would fill up. We did make sure that we were at the gates of the park an hour before opening, and we never had to wait to go on our favorite rides. That, in my opinion, combined with a good tourning plan made this the best. I think that is why our first evening at Seaworld was miserable; we got there late and we weren't sure what to do when we got there. (By the way, dreamsofdisney, you are correct, and we did not consider the possibility of the young man being "differently abled." We are sorry for judging.)

- Thanks for being nice to my wife during this trip report; she was really nervous about posting it up here--she's not the most technologically adept person I know. I know she appreciates the comments and the time you all have taken to read it.

Thanks for sahring your trip with us. I am glad Sea World got better for you. We went last year and really enjoyed it. DS loved animals of any kind so Sea World and AK are 2 if his favorites (after MK of course).

Now its time to start planning your next trip:lmao:

Again, I hope that you don't think I was tring to flame (or not be nice to) you! I just thought I'd give a possible explanation for the scene that you said you found so disturbing. Maybe knowing that it might have been a situation like mine would put your mind at ease.

Thanks again for sharing your TR with us. You did great!!

:woohoo:

Dear Planning fanatic mom's DH

The TR was fantastic. Who cares about technical when you have talent??

I hope she writes more reports and posts more often. :thumbsup2
