Disney has sent me two Pins I can't use

Can I call them and see if they can switch them for me? One of them was for free dining and playing for children. I'm 22 years old and my girl friend and I will be traveling with out children. So this PIN doesn't help me.

The other is for 40% off for dates that don't work for me due to school and work (I work full time and am a full time student). Can I call and see if they can extend any of the other PINS to me, like for the $500 gift card?

If not, can I exchange these PINS with some one who may be able to use them or give them to some one who can use them?

Thanks,
Nik

I received both the 40% off pin, which allows for a LOT more dates during the year, and the $500 gift card one that is only good from 3/1-4/16. Unfortunately I can't use mine either. I wish they would provide these pins to everyone...it would get them more visitors!

I just got the $500 gift card which doesn't help us -- I wish we could use a 40% off code -- now that would help us!

Kind of pisses me off. I have my Disney Profile showing my age and such. I don't know why they're sending me promotions for children.

I would say that many 22-year-olds do have kids. :) My niece's daughter will be six years old when she is 22, the perfect age for Disney. :thumbsup2

Be glad you are getting the PINs. We rec'd our first ever PIN today (the $500 gift card)....and while we can't use it, we FINALLY have some hope that a free dining PIN might eventually make its way to our inbox!!! We consider this reason to celebrate!!!

hi Gina.... how are ya...

My DSon received the PIN with the $500 gift card.... we had already booked another trip for May with our 40% military discount.... so many people would love to just get a pin code... we have only every had a couple... and this 40% off is the first one we could use.

Do you honestly think that someone at Disney is going through each and every profile saying "well this person and 22 and they have no kids so we'll send them promo X"? What would stop a 22 year old with no kids from taking their younger brothers or sisters or their friends with kids. Wouldnt that be profiling on Disney's part?

I've booked Disney under my name about 5 times. It's always 2 adults, and I've gradually gotten a bit older.

I don't know. It's kind of useless to me. If you don't have kids what are you supposed to do with free dining for kids? Why not send something that ANYONE can use, like a $500 gift card?

Granted, Disney is a family place, but not everyone has kids. However EVERYONE can use an extra $500. Just angers me a bit.

Yeah but isnt that the same thing as Papa Johns sending you a family special for 2 pizzas and breadsticks for a family of 4? If you cant use it, throw it away. Just because youve booked disney in the past how do they know you didnt have any kids, or maybe you adopted, or maybe you moved back in with your parents and younger siblings because your house got swallowed by a sinkhole... Life is too short to worry about what promotions disney sends you

I don't understand why you sent some pm's requesting to switch pins after people have told you on here that you can't switch. It bums me out to not be able to use my pins either, however, I still won't take the chance at getting caught at something like that and then NEVER be able to get another pin! Yes, it does stink when you get something you can't use, BUT, it sounds as if you've already been numerous times, probably without a pin, so it sounds like you will go anyway!

lol did you actually send out pm's trying to switch pins? Thats funny. The FIRST thing the cm asks when you give them a pin code is "can you verify the name and address on the pin please?" If thats not the person going, NOT GONNA HAPPEN
