I went to michaels and got 3/8" grosgrain ribbon and dowell rodds(for the corker bows) and then youtubed how to make korker bows and then used alligator cliped for the clip part. for the mickey head ones, i just hot glued circles together... really easy!!!

I love to make streamers. Like ones for Cheerleading teams. You could do them to coordinate the Disney character colors. They are pretty easy to make.

I am going to make matching socks to go with my dd's outfits. I haven't tried them yet, but seen them on ebay and they looked pretty easy. You just take regular cuffed socks and add ribbon around the bottom of the cuff. Like for Minnie attach a row of larger black on the bottom and a row of thinner red and white polka dotted on top of the black. Then finish them off with matching bows. I think I am going to steal your idea of the mickey head bows to go on them. :worship: I have also seen the white cloth style tennis shoes decorated with fabric paint, sequins and etc. but I'm not crafty enough to pull them off. I think I would probably just ruin a perfectly good pair of sneakers!!

How do you make these? I bought one at a craft show for my daughter and she would like me to make her another one.

Thanks, Krista

I am new at making bows, but have a great time with it. I made a few cute ones with mickey head buttons. They were in the scrapbooking section at Michaels. I made a little bow and glued the Mickey head in the middle. If I can figure out how to post the pic, I will post tomorrow.

When we went to Disney in Sept. my 10 year old daughter made hair ties for her and me and my best friend. I ordered the 3/8ths and 5/8ths Disney grosgrain ribbon off of ebay, (They have some really cute ones) and bought some coordinating colored ones from Michaels and Walmart and she tied them to a black ouchless ruberband. They turned out really cute but unfortunetly i dont know how to post pics to show you

I can't post pics or threads until I hit 10 posts so I will post my pic after I post a few times. Also, in the craft section there is a whole thread on bows. I can't post the link, but it is titled...
How to make an easy tutu and hair bows~updated!

Thank you! Yours are super cute also. The buttons come in all colors and two sizes so plenty of options :) I made a princess one this morning and will post later on.

I love your corkers. They are so full, how many ribbon strands did you use? I have seen many different directions on the web, where did you get your instructions?
