Mmm, beignets! Never had them, would love to try them but I'm not sure it will make the cut on this trip because I don't anticipate a stop at POFQ

Nodnol and I went to see PatF on Wednesday, it really is a very sweet film! When Tiana was serving the beignets, I had to think of POFQ!

I saw mention of Vera Bradley and had to go back and read what it was all about. LOL! I am so addicted it's not even funny (although it doesn't help that I can get a pretty nice discount on them...). Yay for getting a new bag! And yay for 27 days!

We ate there for breakfast every morning and brought home two big canisters of the coffee. Sadly, I could never make it taste like they did at Cafe du Monde.

I thought I was too...apparently not. I had the best bbq chicken sandwich with ranch at Red Robin at Patriot Place awhile back. I really want to go there again.

I have to admit, when I came online this morning, one of the first things I looked for was the new food pic of the day! I see the thread..see it dated the 17th..and got all excited!! Opened the thread...saw the pic..and said a few select words about the fact that I had forgotten today was the 18th!! At any rate..I looove beignets..my mom makes them..yummy!

That is too funny. I have the next few days so hopefully they will be up earlier in the day!

I'm really happy with my new bag, just haven't had time to take pictures yet. I think it's my favorite pattern. Of course they are discontinuing it.

This weekend is a Christmas weekend for us! We have two family swaps on my side of the family, one today, one tomorrow. I'm really excited about seeing everyone. Most of them haven't seen us since we started losing weight. (My diet is going HORRIBLE, I think it's the holidays. I need to get back on track. I want to lose another 15lbs before Disney!) We have a huge snow storm predicted for tonight into tomorrow. I'm trying to ignore it. We should be able to drive home Sunday night or just drive directly to work on Monday morning. Thank goodness Marc took Sunday night off so we don't have to rush home and worry about him sleeping before his overnight shift.

This little food item is one of the things Jen has been talking about trying since we decided to eat at Jiko.

Taste of Africa.

Doesn't that look delish? I had a similar dish at Sanaa in October and I loved it!!! I'm really excited to try this!!!!We are planning on getting a few appetizers at Jiko to share. We are going to eat like Queens that night! Yes we are!! I'm definitely looking forward to trying this signature restaurant...another one to add to my list!!! This will be 4th one! I'm sitting here thinking and Brown Derby is the only signature place I've eaten at. Or is Cinderella's Royal Table considered one too?

You will both LOVE Jiko! It was an amazing restaurant with outstanding food. They bring you warm cloths for your hands after you are seated. My niece and I looked at each other with a puzzled look! We are not used to such treatment! If you like wine make sure you try some. They have a HUGE selection.

BOO! It hasn't started yet but it's just a matter of time. I just read the weather and it's saying it should stop by early afternoon so I just really hope we can drive home tomorrow night. I do not want to have to get up super early and go directly to work from here on Monday morning.

Oooh, warm cloths! How fancy! I'm not a fan of wine, I can't really drink anymore either. It's a bummer. I had a chocolate cake thingy today and it had alcohol in it, it was awesome.
