Hmmmm, I can't decide how I want those fries, with our without the lettuce and tomato....

I feel so bad that I missed out on my chance for Figaro Fries and the cream cheese pretzel on my last trip. Next time for sure!!

We got to meet Mary Poppins this trip and after the girls had their picture, she looked at my teeny purse and said, "My, that's a small carpet bag, however do you fit everything in it?" I replied, "My husband carries the big one" (the backpack). I should have said, it's magic like yours.

Oh that is a wonderful Mary Poppins story! Jen's bag really is magical.

Whoa!!!! Those fries look amazing! I will take one with lettuce and tomato and one without to do my scientific comparison.
We are doing a lot of Yorkshire pudding enabling!
I forgot what print you said you got so when I was home last night I noticed I have the Hipster and a large tote in the Mod Floral Pink! Good choice! Pretty sad when I don't know what I have

I'm so excited for my Mom's yorkshire pudding next week. I've already told her I have to take a picture of it. She's feeling all sorts of pressure now.

I got my bag today and it's beautiful!!

Figaro fries is on my snack list too! Like you, I wanted to try them before but never seemed to squeeze them in.

I hope you're vacation is everything you want it to be Leslie and I agree, having time off because of surgery is NOT the same as vacation. After my gangrene appendix, I had time off, but I was so tired all I did was sleep (not that sleeping is a bad thing either..)

Those fries...mmmmmm...lettuce.meh....tomatoes..

It really isn't. Marc didn't understand what I was saying until he had his time off. It's not the same as a "vacation". Surgery takes a lot out of you! Healing is some hard work.

Oh my...this is a fun way to count down...

That cheesecake looks absolutely yum...love the fish and chips...(have a good place for fish & chips in New York and Alexandria, VA...if you ever happen to need it...) ...I have to think about the Figaro fries...I'm kind of a fry purist...thin, golden, salty and crispy-no toppings usually...but I might have to give those a try next time...

Ok Since LL you are the Christmas Nazi......I have two questions...

Christmas Dinner: I am caught between a ham and a Rib Roast...?

Tree: We are supposed to go on Saturday...(and its supposed to snow here...)...tall and thin or shorter and rounder...?

Ah oh wise one...I await your Christmas advice...

Christmas Dinner: Rib Roast for sure. I'm not a fan of ham. I do not like green eggs and ham.

Christmas Tree: I'm a big fan of the misfit trees, if you will. I like the shorter/rounder trees personally.

Okay...The Plant in the Mary Poppins Backpack Story. Do you remember that little plant I bought at Living in the Land back in May. The plant with a naughty name? It was in a little glass jar, and it was grown from cells instead of a seed. Well they wouldn't deliver back to the room since it's a living thing so Jen kindly offered the backpack. So we packed it up nicely so the glass jar wouldn't break and she carried it around for me.

I'm so excited for this trip. I really need to get away. I mean, I know I had four weeks off for my surgery but that is a different kind of break. I didn't really get to enjoy myself. I need this vacation.....NOW.

Ah, that's right! Now I remember!! Jen could probably start a blog about what is transported in her back pack during a WDW trip.

The after-surgery vacation is NOT a vacation. That's almost worse than work in some ways! I'm sure you are so ready and just itchin' to be there, it will feel great after the holiday rush is over.

I think I would prefer them with the toppings, but I would most likely put just a wee bit of ranch on. What a messy, wonderful treat that would be. I never remember these exist while we are at MK, I think I'm too focused on Casey's.

See, I would douse the fries in ranch. I love almost anything with ranch dressing. It's a bad habit! You know what my favorite ranch combo is? BBQ chicken dipped in ranch. HEAVEN!

Oh, the wonderful Beignets from Port Orleans French Quarter. Oh So Heavenly they are!!!!

I'm not quite sure what they are or how they taste but they look delicious. Plus I've heard great things about them. Isn't that the DIS way, crave something that you have never actually had because you've seen pretty pictures and read mouth watering descriptions? I have had these before when I have gone to New Orleans for trips to the Aquarium...they are heaven in your mouth...so wonderful you will love them Leslie!!!!

To make them even more exciting, Princess Tiana makes them in The Princess and the Frog! That was a wonderful movie by the way and you should all go see it. I am even more excited to stay at POFQ now after seeing it. Plus now I know how to say the word correctly. I really can't wait to see this movie I hope to convince my friend to go see it with me this weekend!

You will love beignets, LL! We had them at the Cafe du Monde in New Orleans, and they are as delicious as they sound! Just make sure you aren't wearing a dark color when you are eating them, though, or the powdered sugar will be all over it when you are finished.

I have to admit, when I came online this morning, one of the first things I looked for was the new food pic of the day! I see the thread..see it dated the 17th..and got all excited!! Opened the thread...saw the pic..and said a few select words about the fact that I had forgotten today was the 18th!! At any rate..I looove beignets..my mom makes them..yummy!
