I am glad that you have something to look forward to again! It would have been nice, to pay less, but now you will hopefully have a lovely view as well!

Hopefully that's the end of all the resort drama for you guys. I love French Quarter and I'm sure you both will too. Plus, you're just a short walk or boat away from Riverside if you want to check those out. Plus you can eat beignets for breakfast every day if you wanted to. So many good things about French Quarter!
So very true. I think the view will be worth it even though I don't normally pay for views.POFQ is wonderful!!
It's just a magnet that goes on the side of your car door, a lot of people have them on their cars advertising small businesses and such.

Do you know that the only thing better than staying in a standard room at POFQ is staying in a waterview room????? You are going to LOVE this! Seriously, DH and I stayed in a waterview room for one night last December and I did not want to leave to go check into SSR. It was wonderful. Truely one of the best room locations I have ever had. I totally think it was worth the extra $ and I hate to spend money on the "view". When you guys check in make sure you listen for my voice whispering...."I told you so". Do Not change this room under any circumstances.

It is my favorite moderate. It is just so quaint and southern!! Love it.
$50 is nothing these days, well worth getting what you want. CBR is very pretty as well, but when you want something really bad you are seldom pleased with a substitution.

I will be happy if we have to keep the water view. If not, I am sure we will have a great view. I highly doubt we'll get a standard view room though, they sold out pretty quickly!
I'm really excited about POFQ. I think I'm really going tolike staying there. I think California Grill is going to be awesome, Jen really loved eating there on her trip and she wanted to do it again.So I am totally late to this party but after reading the past flurry of posts the past 72 hours I am:
1. going to say that CBR was really nice IMO, it being the first Moderate we have ever tried.... and if you HAD to go with it, that I think you would have liked it..
BUT
2. I was PLEASED to read that you got to stay at POFQ, and I would agree, that a water view for $50.00 isn't that much and well, you would probably really like that added nicety... and if you can get standard, great. Our very first trip to Disney we were going to stay there. We didn't after all was said and done, but DH and I think we would still like to try it.... SO I can't wait to hear what you and Jen have to say....
3. I KNEW that your photo was from Its a Small World!!! At least I got one right!!!!!
4. LOVE your dining plans, can't wait to hear about your Cali Grille experience!!! I can't wait to eat there again!

to my TA. Yep, totally drives me nuts! I still can't remember what I wanted to do.We stayed there in 2007, too, and I would stay there again. I just love it there!

Thanks for joining in!! I really loved having the TA book the ADRs for me. So much less stressful. Hopefully next trip I can be more relaxed about the resort choice.
If POR doesn't come available then I will be 100% happy with POFQ. POR will be there next trip.
