Does anyone know if the Disney Doll Princess Outfits fit American Girl Dolls? The little girls I baby-sit would love this, thought they would make good souvies.

Thanks!

The clothes fit but the shoes are way too small! My daughter has the outfit with the Mickey Ears, Mickey Fanny pack, Mickey Cup, autograph book, etc. The outfit is a Mickey T-shirt and denim shorts. It is just too cute! Hope this helps! Kathy :earsgirl:

I'm glad to hear Disney has doll outfits. Would they fit a regular baby doll? I have a niece with multiple issues, and getting a gift for her is problematic (no stuffed animals, etc.). Really, the only thing she wants is baby dolls, or clothes for them. She also collects horses. She can't handle multiple textures (doesn't do well with animals), so simple things would be best.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated!

I know the Minnie Mouse outfit fits the American Girl doll - including the shoes.

DD has an American Girl Today doll that she got a year ago, she choose to buy the Minnie outfit for "April" (her doll's name) because she felt it was the better deal (got more items with it than the Princess stuff) and she immediately dressed her in the outfit. It fits her perfectly fine (you can see a bit of the neckline I suppose of the stuffed body) but her doll looks so adorable in the outfit.

I don't know if the Princess shoes are smaller or not but DD's doll has the little socks on that say "Minnie" along with the shoes (the shoes are so adorable!)

Would Mr Potato Head work for her? All plastic so no multiple textures but maybe he'd be freaky to her????

The girls have never been to WDW, so I wanted to get something they couldn't get anywhere else. But they are very into the princesses so, I probably will stick with those, but warn them the about the shoes, don't think they'll care as long as they are dressed like their dolls. Thanks again.

Actually you can get the shoes on, you just have to try hard. We have a Snow White outfit and the ballet slipper like shoes can be shoved on an A G doll's "stubby" as my dd says, feet.

My daughter bought the Ariel and Belle outfits for her AG dolls last time we were at WDW. The dresses are a little tight on the dolls but they do fit. She also bought the "Disney" (?) outfit with jean shorts, t-shirt, sneakers, etc. When we went to MGM to see the Beauty and the Beast show she insisted in bringing her doll with her dressed up as Belle. It was really cute. The best thing about it was that all of these "older" girls (she was 7 at the time) kept talking to her about their AG dolls. She thought that was fantastic. The outfits are really cute and we were excited to find them!
