Disney Giftcards?

Where can I use these lovely little cards in WDW?

My family is pushing to get me like 500$ worth for my birthday trip in December, so what can I do with them?

Just about anything: I used mine to pay for food at WDW rest. Goofys candy co, World of disney store, main street bakery

you can use them for EVERYTHING in Disney world, DisneyLand, online or in the stores! they go from $5.00 to $1500 and they are reload able, you can use them on ANYTHING you want in disney....from alcohol drinks to dinner, to a 400 dollar watch! and when you buy them, make sure you ask for a total 35 ~ non`sale slip, that will give you the account number with what was loaded on it. If you were ever to lose it they should be able to reactivate it with the number of the account! so not all is lost!

If I remember correctly, the only places where you CAN'T use the Disney GC are:

-Rainforest Cafe at AK and DTD (and probably TRex Cafe, too, since they are owned by the same company)
-Richard Petty Driving Experience
-to purchase Disney Dollars

There might be a few other non-Disney shops and/or restaurants at DTD where the GCs aren't accepted- but I know for sure about the above.

this is not true, I used mine GC this past week in the Rainforest. It can be used for everything!

They must have changed the policy, then- because RC didn't take the card in Jan '09 when we went...
