Yes, just apply them to your onboard account at Guest Services.

Or call DCL prior to your cruise and they can do the same thing without having to wait at a counter. I believe that the cutoff time for that is 4 days prior to the cruise, but I'm not 100% certain.

You certainly can do this. I'll just point out, on the off chance that you have any leftover onboard credit from the gift cards , you need to have the cards for DCL to apply the credit back.

Outstanding point. I have saved all of the gift cards that we've used and will use. We paid for our entire cruise including gratuities, with gift cards at a 5% savings. The best I've seen online is getting a 12% savings, but more steps than I wanted to go through.

Thanks for the info. Our grocery store has 4X fuel points for gift cards right now so we wanted to go ahead and buy one if they could be used onboard.

I just sailed on the Aug 17th cruise to Alaska on the Wonder and paid for all my excursions, Palo Brunch, shopping etc with Disney gift cards. Went to guest services and applied several gift cards when I boarded to my account and kept adding gift cards as needed. I always pick up my gift cards when x4 fuel points are being offered. I also, pay for all my trips to Disney World and Disneyland using the gift cards.

Anyone know what the typical pattern is for when they run the 4x fuel points? Is it usually around the holidays like the one they're running over Labor Day this weekend? I found out too late to take advantage of it this time and would like to be prepared for the next one.

Yes, it seems like they do tend to run the 4x promo around holidays. They have one around Thanksgiving/Christmas in the past and that may be the next time.

Kroger has 4x fuel points now through October 4. You need to load the coupon on your Kroger card to get 4x's points.
