Disney Gift Cards

Can you use Disney Gift Cards to pay for anything through DFTW? I could have sworn I read something somewhere that you couldn't but now I can't seem to find it anywhere. I know we could use it towards tickets, hotel, etc. but I'm curious to see if they could be used for anything specific to Disney weddings like the characters, or MK shoot, etc.

Unfortunately, Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings does not accept gift cards as payment.

i am getting married in february and have paid almost $30K in gift cards...so unless they changed their policy yesterday, they accept disney gift cards! they may not be enthusiastic about processing them because they are a lot of work, but they take them! my planner's assistant has been a total trooper every time we send her a new batch of gift cards!
