Disney gift cards???

Does anyone know if the Disney gift cards can be used in the downtown Disney restaurants?
Our local grocery store sells them and we can earn gas points by buying them but I don't want to get stuck with more than I need.

Yes, they can be used at the DD restaurants. I've done so a number of times.
