can Disney gift cards be used in
BB and at Minnie's? and any where else in the parks and world of Disney?
I should know this question. But since last time i saw my wall mart sold Disney gift cards i was thinking of trying to get some of the souvenir money on those cards pluse the 25 at each place we are using cash for.

Yes they can be used everywhere in DL and DCA and World of Disney... Except for the vending carts since they take cash only...

My parents bought DBF one from Vons for his birthday or Christmas or something, and we used it to pay for our meals...

ohh ty so much for such a fast responce. this is grate (now to just pray i wasnt seeing things when i saw the card rack at wall mart lol

You're welcome! :)

I think they do have them at Wal Mart? I remember seeing them in the Gift Card Mall thing they have there. If not check Vons, I know Vons has them for sure....

How about Downtown Disney? I know World of Disney you can... but How about ESPN Zone, Studio 28, Rainforest Cafe, Build-a-Bear and other restaurants and shops?

i think cash is gona have to be for those other places
but world disney im gona be spending alot the first night books and my pin book and i bet pins

Thanks for posting this Jade. My nephew who will be traveling with us got a ton of Disneyland gift cards for his upcoming birthday, so he is very excited to have them to spend in the park.

Disneygiftcard dot com is nice for specifics. :)

There is ONE outdoor vending place that accepts the giftcards; the one to the left of the castle that sells coffee and cookies and such.

As you know I like using giftcards for budgeting purposes, but we just keep the money over in a savings account, bump it over as we get close to the trip, and then use it to buy the cards at Disneyland/DCA. But we don't have a Disney Store nearby, and I didn't know walmart sold them. :upsidedow

Thank you and I am glad that you posted this thread Jade, for I was wondering about the particulars regarding said gifty card, as well. :)

Thank you for the link bumbershoot, :) and yay! it is accepted at Marcelines Confectionery!

Disney Gift Cards can be used anywhere that accepts debit/credit cards. They ship for free when purchased from disneyland.com & disneydirect.com

So far I have $200 in gift cards for our Dec. trip.

The churro/snack cart right out side the brother bear park in DCA accepts gift cards!!

BE CAREFUL WITH GIFT CARDS FROM WALMART OR A GROCERY STORE! They usually charge an extra $4-5 dollars "convenience" charge. DMIL bought DD a Build-a-Bear card from Wlagreens. It was $5 more (She paid $30 for a $25 card) AND we did not get credit fr her BAB bucks. I know our grocer charges a service fee as well

O.k. so I have more questions about the Disney gift cards.

Are they a set amount $25- $50, etc or do I ge to choose how much to put on it?
If not a set amount, are they reloadable? Say if I only put $50 on it when I first buy it, can I keep adding money to it?
