Disney Gift Cards

Hi everyone! I leave in 10 days for DL. I can't wait. I wanted to get Disney gift cards for each of my kids. Can you get them at the Disney hotels? Do I need to order them before we go or can we get them there? I send an email to vacationplanning@disneyonline.com to ask this question (we are staying at the Paradise Pier) and they told me to call them. No answer really. So, does anyone know the answer to this? Also, disney dollars? Where to get them once you get to DL?

Disney Gift cards and Disney Dollars are available at the Disney hotels, World of Disney in Downtown Disney and almost all of the shops at Disneyland. You can also get them at the Disney Stores.

You can also get Disney Dollars at City Hall after you enter the park.

A neat thing I learned yesterday is that you can order the gift cards on line on the Disney site and then choose the "will call' option instead of having it delivered to your home. Then you go to the Will Call booth and show them your receipt and pick up your cards. For those of us that didn't think about gift cards until last minute, it's a perfect option!

LOL, if you REALLY want them last minute, buy them from the store you're in, in DTD or the parks, then buy your purchases with the gift card.
