Disney Gift Cards?

I was at our local Disney store today and saw that they had gift cards on the counter that said they could soon be used at all Disney parks. When I spoke with the cashier she didn't seem to know anything about them and she said her manager was at lunch and she couldn't sell me any disney dollars either. My questions is, has anyone used these at the parks? I would rather my teenagers not carry to much cash with them.

I've seen them at the parks... I haven't actually used the new ones yet. I have used the old one from last year (WDW Shopping and Dining gift card) a couple times it worked great since it kept me in budget! You shouldn't have any problem with them at the parks since I think about 98% of the shops and restaurants participate.

Hi! I work in a Disney Store and I usually refer our guests to the Disney gift card website. It gives all the information you need to decide if the card if right for you. I think it's a great idea! I'm going to get one before our trip because I don't like carrying around too much cash either. Try this website for information about the card. Hope it helps!
