Disney Gift Cards at Targets in Canada?

Anyone know if the new Targets in Canada sell the Disney gift cards?

All the talk on the budget board about people getting the discounts on the gift cards with a Target credit card got me thinking maybe finally us Canadians can get in on that deal!

I looked when I was there a couple of weeks ago and did not see them at the checkout but I didn't look for a specific gift card display to see if they had them there.

Would there be a problem buying Disney gift cards at a Canadian store to be used in the US? Wonder how they would handle the conversion?

Interested to hear what others have to say.

If they sell them I would imagine Disney would have to accept them? I am afraid that Target won't be selling Disney Gift cards. Our Target hasn't opened yet, but I will be looking for the cards once they do.

I haven't seen them in the one near me and even if they did they would probably only be good in the Canadian Disney stores only.

Has anyone bought gift cards at Target in the US? I have been a couple times to the Targets in Niagara Falls, US but can never seem to find any Disney gift cards. Are they only there at certain times? How can I find them?

if they are like the Disney store gift cards they will only work in disney stores in Canada and not in the US

I was actually at Target last night and saw a display near CS with some GC's. I looked and I'm not sure if this is the same at the rest of the store, but there had just a few - iTunes and a few others. Definitely no Disney at the place I was looking at.

BUT, I did see they now have a dollar section. OK, there were some 3 dollar stuff in between, but definitely more than they had on opening day. I did see a sandwich container and water bottle which were Disney princesses and Cars. Hopefully this grows to be as big as the section they have in the US.

The gift card selection at Target is small, so I highly doubt they will get Disney gift cards.

They are missing major Canadian stores, as it's a small selection, so I really don't see them carrying Disney gift cards over here, but only time will tell.

The Target on Niagara Falls Blvd, in the plaza with Dots, Tops, Sally's, so on, usually has Disney Gift Cards. They are up at the registers.
