We are planning to buy quite a few gift cards for our trip. We have a few months to get the cards, but I am curious if there is a daily limit to how many you can purchase. Anyone know? TIA.

I purchased 56 in one day. The cashier said "all of these?" when I put them up. I said "if the system will let me!" They all went through fine, as did my discount. She wasn't aware of a limit and the computer didn't kick it back!

At disneygiftcard.com you can combine the cards into 1 card up to $1000.

I was buying discounted tickets through work web Site & wanted to put multiple target gc but it was limiting me to 1. I called DL to see what I could do. She looked it up & told me of this site. Easier for when we're in the parks too!

I made the kids all scratch off the code places, then loaded them onto other Carlson the gift card site. So easy! Then....if you have time, and it works for your vacation, I used the Disney vacation account and got an extra $20 go for each $1000 spent on the vacation package. Pretty good return, I think.

If you purchase Disney gift cards at target with your target card you get 5% off at the register.

Im so clueless... Target disney gift cards??
What are these for?
It isn't a huge savings, but 5% is 5%. Ha! I have been buying gift cards online every couple weeks and we will use those for food/souvenirs while we are in the park. Just an easy way to spread out the costs buying a bit at a time and the 5% is something!

I have a question regarding this - I have about $500 in GC now that I plan to do this with, but I am going to be buying more before our July trip. Can I add the $500 now and then add more to the same gift card, or will I have to start a new gift card?

I looked at the website last night and I believe you can do the $500 now, then add more up to $1000. $1000 is the limit on each card.

I agree you can add more later. You can only put 5 cards. But after they're zero delete & add a new one :)

Lol!! I feel like a dummy...so you save 5% by buying the giftcards? Meaning you save 5% percent in the parks on purchases or the gift card value?
I am definitely looking for ways to spread out our costs over the next several months before our trip in November!!

When you use your Red Card at Target, you get 5% off the cost of your gift card. So a $100 gift card is $95.

Is there anywhere on DLR property these CANNOT be used? I'm trying to decide if I want to both with this or not.. ;)

I don't know about downtown Disney. There was one ice cream cart once in DCA that didn't take them as they were cash only, but that's it in the parks and hotels that I've come across on our trips.

What we had to watch for was the Red Card limit. They are notoriously low and we hit our limit once when we still needed some more a few days before our trip. We paid off the card early but the system takes a few days to process payments before freeing up your credit line again.

The people selling balloons are cash only, and possibly a few of the outdoor vending carts/people, like the carts that sell light up toys at night before the parade/fireworks.
