Disney Gift Cards and Dining

Can anyone point me in the direction of a list of which dining venues at WDW accept Disney Gift Cards? I'm looking for a way to not bust the budget at WDW while we're there.

We have one ressie at Chef's de France, and have a gift card that would cover the cost (if they accept them for payment).

I don't have a list for you, but I'm almost positive at any restaurant you can charge it to your room, and then pay off your tab at the resort with a GC

Thanks- but this trip we're at SoG, and they not part of the Disney loop. That is an alternative for a future trip though!!

We used a Gift card at Chef's on several trips. Last time was in 2015.

We were just there in Dec and used the Disney gift cards to pay for all meals including tip and did happen to have a dinner at Chefs. We even used them at Rainforest Cafe at AK and TRex at DS where there were 2 receipts we had to fill out.

I called Disney last week to ask about certain restaurants and paying with gift cards. The CM was kind enough to go through all my ADRs and confirm which ones took gift cards. If in doubt, I would call. HTH!

Pretty sure Disney will take your money just about any way you want to give it to them...lol!

Pretty much anywhere, restaurants and stores, on property. Now some of the little carts may not take them and there may be a few non-disney owned restaurants that will not accept, for example I'm pretty sure anything at the swan & dolphin. But really, you'll be able to use them 99% of the time.
