Hi Everyone !
We'll we took advantage of the buy 4 days get 3 days free . Which is awesome.. We actually were only going to stay for three days, but changed our plans for this offer.. were staying at POR January 22th- 29th celebrating our 38th anniversary . I have a question about the gift card we will be receiving after check in. Can we use it towards purchasing the dining plan at the time of check in ?? I wasn't sure if any of you have looked into this ? Any help would be great !!

No, you can't use the gift card for your room or the DP. However, you can use it for the tips which are no longer included in the DP. (Remember, too, that you must add the DP at least 72 hours before arrival. You can't add it at check-in.)

I had to look this up....we received the 500.00 gift card offer today in a pin code....had to check out what we could use it for....


Walt Disney Theme Parks*
The Disney Gift Card can be used to purchase admission tickets at the Theme Parks and annual passes. It may also be used at Disney owned and operated merchandise, dining and recreation locations where credit cards are currently accepted. Some carts, and other outdoor Merchandise vendors may not be able to accept the gift card.

The Disney Gift Card can be used to purchase admission tickets to DisneyQuest®. That is exactly why we are not doing the dining plan when we go in January for the new promo. We will just use our gift card to pay for some of our meals!
