Disney Gift Card Deals

How many days do I need to pack my lunch (i.e., eat my kids’ leftovers) to be able to afford my Disney vacation...oh yeah, every day!

Not to mention going to the cheapest place to get hair cuts, not getting nails done, eating out or going to movies if once a month. Oh, least we forget making handmade cards for special events, using every single coupon on top of sales and cashback sites known to mankind. Buying clothes from good will or only on the clearance racks. Been there and done that and still marching on! Oorah!

Get a gas can or two or three! Do not waste your money buying GC's if you're not going to utilize any aspect of the savings in gas at Kroger. It's just not sound.

Thank you. Yes, after I found out the math, I have a small gas tank which I fill every 7-9 days, it wasn’t worth it for me to buy that much. I bought the $105 visa then used it to buy $100 Disney gc as advised. See above for my experience.
How often do they run the promotions? Just trying to calculate how many opportunities I have until PIF in December. I plan to use the target deal in December as I well.
Monthly. Sometimes for a weekend, sometimes for a few weeks.

Yea! I actually got that one on my Everyday card. This could work for me combined with my gift cards I've been saving but I think I may have to combine them first. Would you (or anyone really) happen to know how many gift cards you can use on one transaction online? I'm pretty sure I have at least 5 because some were only 5 or 10 dollars. I don't have a Sam's account, my plan was to use my mom's so I don't have quick access to check.

I am wondering the exact same thing... We got the offer on 4 cards and I plan on using one of them to finally get a membership.

It says 4 maximum per order.

I did not know where to put this, but i wanted to share that i signed up for direct tv again after leaving about 1 yr ago. They had an offer for a $300 gc and i was going to sign up anyway I was just waiting for a good offer. When i called they offered me a $500 visa gift card!!!! Money that will be going to either this vacation or the next:dogdance:

Sam's Club gift card- opinions please :) I have the amex offer on 2 cards so was thinking I'd purchase $60 worth of gift cards, eat the 10% non-member fee (not interested), and flip them into Disney at my local Walmart. But the reviews online are HORRIBLE! Almost every single review sites "activation problems". It's to the point where I don't even know if I believe those reviews but they go on and on and on like that, spread out over time. Does anyone have experience buying Sam's Club gift cards online? Is it truly that bad?

I don't have a membership but I am considering getting one. Do you know if they sell any other Disney GC's besides $500? That is all I am seeing online.

They also have a 3pk of $50 cards ($150 total) for 142.98. Easiest way for me to find them is do a search on the site for "Disney gift card" and all 3 options pop up. The 500 can order a physical card or a eCard, the $150 is only the physical pack. That's their only options.

Well, nvm on sam's club gift cards. I decided to create a guest account today thinking I'd cash this out on Starbucks because the 10% non-member surcharge would push a purchase over the $30 mark but they surcharge didn't go through. I then got an email from Sam's Club with my temporary membership number that said it's good for the next 24 hours. This isn't the best laid plan but it already happened so I rolled with it and bought the $150 in Disney and split the payment between my 2 amex cards that had the offer. 25% off $150 in Disney? Yes please. (This route is not the most lucrative I know but it was the most direct and therefore seemed the most safe to me with Walmart's (and apparently Sam's Club's) gift card activation issues and I need Disney for my trips more than I need to splurge on Starbucks!) So, for the next 24 hours I have a free Sam's Club membership and no Sam's Club in town, guess I should browse and see if I could really use anything they sell online...

Ok so you just blew my mind, you can use two credit cards online for payment?! I haven't seen that before, usually CC is the clean up option after other forms of payment so you only get one.

So am I understanding this correctly?
You can use Amex to buy Disney gift cards online and you get $15 cashback for the purchase? May have to have hubs get some Disney gift cards with his card then if that is how it is working!

I inputted my cc info and then clicked add and added in my second card and then I clicked both boxes next to the cards and it popped up with a screen allowing me to charge exactly what a I wanted on each card after I clicked continue on the order I think. Each card was charged the appropriate amount. No email confirms from amex yet.

I saw others did it on DoC so i tried it myself. Fwiw no one on DoC has received Amex offer used confirmation emails yet.
