Weird but I've ordered Disney GC through BJs in the past but today my order was cancelled twice due to being "unable to verify payment information". I used my Discover card as before--not sure what the issue is. Might call or might save the hassle and go to Sam's.

After a longish hold, the person I talked to "thinks" that it may be because they are out of stock (at least that's what her inventory showed). Too bad that their website doesn't show the same--they may have lost a customer!

Or yeah, if @twinmom2002 is worried she did something wrong, step away from this deal and PPDG for a few days or weeks. The flag should go away in time. This kind of Best Buy gift card deal comes around quite often. About a month ago, Best Buy had a buy a $200 gift card/get a $20 coupon deal through Cashstar. It also seems like PPDG runs this or some $ off Best Buy gift card promo every few months, usually around the end of the quarter. This specific deal has been running for almost two weeks; the original eBay listing ended a few days ago and was quickly relisted. ETA: I bought $450 last week under the old listing, and another $300 yesterday under the new listing.

UPDATE: I just called paypal and had to answer a few questions and I was able to make the purchase. It probably happened because I have not used my paypal account for many years until just lately and I had already purchased $450 worth of the best buy cards. I made one more purchase today, but I think that's all I will do on this off. I already have everything I need now to cover my budget for my June trip.

Ordered the 100 dollar disney gift card from bjs. What a pain. It was suppose to come today I was home all day and nothing. Totally not worth it.

I have been trying to order BJs cards for a month now...using portals, not using portals, different cards (Discover, Chase and Amex) and every single time the order is cancelled. The customer service reps vary in response from "I don't know" to "it's your bank" (notably the credit card companies say "it's not us it's them").

So frustrating!

My order placed last Saturday came on Wednesday, my order from last Wednesday is scheduled for Monday. My order I placed this yesterday is still processing. I've been ordering $500 at a time. Didn't want to risk $1500 in one shipment.

Just used my discover card to purchase $1500 worth of gc's @ BJ's. If this promotion happens again when will that be? Is it by quarter?

This promo is each quarter. Next quarter will be July-September. Discover has not announced if it will include warehouse clubs again for the 5% cash back. They said they will announce it sometime in May.

Side note: Everyone posting about issue with BJ's they have been wonderful for me. This is my third time in the past month buying the $100 Disney gift cards. Shipping was super fast coming within 4-5 days including weekends! Site was very user friendly. Always in stock. Love them and love that I found this awesome deal to save me 10% off my Disney vacation!

Well, this Best Buy deal -- $150 for a $150 BBY GC + $15 coupon, which you'd take in store to buy $165 in Disney GCs -- saves 9%. If you have the cashier scan your Shopkicks app when paying, you'll usually get another 0.8% worth in "kicks" that you can eventually redeem for Best Buy or Target GCs, which you'll turn into Disney GCs. Ebates now offers a 1% cash back in-store coupon for Best Buy, but I haven't tried to see if it applies to GCs.

This isn't the best deal, however, because like @StuckInKS posted, you can get a base savings of 5% on Disney GCs from Target using the REDcard, or buying Disney GCs already discounted ~5% from Sam's Club or BJs -- and depending on what credit card you have, get another 5% cash back if the rotating bonus category that quarter is for warehouse clubs. All without the worry of converting one store's GC for Disney GCs. ~10% savings is still nice, especially if you don't have time to wait for better deals.

I took advantage of this deal because I'm a bit depleted of Disney GCs, and I have a deposit that I need to make soon that I refuse to pay "full price" on.

I have a question on this please. I'm considering taking advantage of this deal, however I've never bought Disney gc's at BB. Do they have variable amount Disney cards? I've only bought gc's at Target who sells them in increments of $50. Or do you have to buy enough to make it an even amount for the $165 if that makes sense? TIA!

I ordered both from target (red card discount)which arrived quickly & were left @ my door. I ordered from BJs & missed UPS 2xs & had to go to the facility for pickup. Plus ebates & the discover card...luv this discount only wish I had known about it years ago!

My BJ's orders that got cancelled were for $600. I will try $500 and see if that makes a difference!

At my local BB they had $50 and $75 increments but they did also have the variable amount cards that could be purchased for any value up to $500. So you should be able to load the entire $165 on there. I wasn't aware of this prior and had the same question you had. But I was looking to buy a bunch of them anyway so I bought 5 of the PPDG $165 deals so I had an even amount in case they only had $50 or $75 increments. I ended up loading $750 on to 2 cards purchased from BB.

Some have variable load and some don't.
I have two best buys about fifteen minutes away from me. The one south of me only has $25 and $50 Disney gift cards.
The one to the north of me has $25, $50 and variable load Disney gift cards. You can add between $25 and $500 on to them.

Super weird. My husband has the Discover card so he placed the order for the gift cards and they called him about a payment verification issue too. Then it went through and we got the cards Friday. They were all activated and were put immediately into my DVA. Normally I only buy $500 GCs at Kroger, but it was worth dealing with 100s this time.

Learning that I could pull off the sticker instead of scratching last year changed my life!

We had them sent to work. The package tracking was accurate, so if you didn't receive them yet it's probably on UPS. They were in a box about 2 inches thick. 5 singles and a pack of 10 shrink wrapped.

I am guessing some of these payment issues are due to anti-money laundering measures put in place to satisfy regulators.

Interesting...since I was placing orders for 1 (just floating to see if it would go through), I certainly hope the regulators have bigger fish to fry

This is interesting. When I placed my BJ's order. I received a processing message that
day. A shipment email the next day and UPS came 3 days later. I made sure i was home
because of the signature verification.

I'm almost positive the people getting the cancelled messages is because they
are out of stock. Keep trying.

I agree! The only thing I did different this time when my orders were cancelled was that I went through ebates. Anyone place an order yesterday afternoon/evening and not have the order cancelled? Just curious.

Also, my order was only for $300.

I went through ebates also. Only because someone here mentioned it. I never heard of ebates before.
I bought 1500 and had them in my hand 4 days later. Now mind you this was last week of March.
I didn't do it for April.

Here is what I'm thinking. The last offer was for Jan Feb March. So most people bought right
away beginning of year. Well I just heard about it couple weeks ago so I hurried and bought before
the month ended. Now that the new offer has started they are being overwhelmed. If i buy again
I will wait until June. 2nd batch I won't need until next year anyway.
