Yes, you have to order at least the discount amount from the appropriate category. Essentially, it's a "spend $75 (on anything) and get $15 of stuff from one category for free." You should be able to order $60 in gift cards and $15 in "home and garden" and only pay $60.

Good point. I was surprised how fast it arrived. Usually making a change to pick it up at the UPS Store adds a day to the normal delivery time. I was so afraid it wouldn't arrive until Tuesday or Wednesday due to the holiday. Now I have the weekend to convert the GS into eBay and be ready for a possible promo offer next week. We're going to cash out most of our gift cards to Disney and just keep $200 or $300 for light churning.

I bought two GS GC's when they were pay $25 and get the $5 bonus and I converted them back into eBay today. Cashier seemed leery of doing the transaction and I think the only reason she did it was because I bought a used wii game. I doubt GS will be much of an option for me.

I've been doing 500 at a time. I know my locations very well though and the employees love me when I always bring in a ton of games to trade.

I don't have the kind of rapport @JKalai has with my local GSs. I buy $200-250 at a time, or 2x $200. It's graduation season, so lots of gift giving. ;-) Aside from that, everyday is somebody's birthday. An eBay GC is "the perfect gift every time." ;-)

Thanks. I think I'll start big with the store furthest away but begin to build a good relationship with the store nearest work and making the occasional non gift card purchase.

unless you have a "known cashier" 200 would be the safest maximum. dont go up to a cashier you are not familiar with and try 500. i learned the hard way. now i have to avoid the closest store to my house.

I have churned 400 at a time through GS using digital gift cards. I like just having one card to keep track of. They have the $25-$500 cards.
I am considering switching to mailed GS cards until we see what happens with PayPal.
