I didn't get the last 3 promos so I jumped on this one. I may miss out on a better promo before my cards come in but I would rather get 3x than nothing.

When I logged out of paypal and logged back in it said I needed to do it, so obviously they have an issue with what I'm doing even though I've only purchased $200 worth of GCs so far and just trying to get another $300. Now I'm stuck with $300 worth of ebay cards.

I understand not wanting your social security number attached but if you don't add it, you will be very limited on what you can churn. I sell on ebay so I have had mine attached for years.

I think the max is like $500? I can't remember but I ran into the same issue. But yeah, what the other poster said above - totally your business whether you are comfortable with it or not, but you're definitely limited in what you can do on Ebay if you don't verify your account.

A question....has anyone ever placed a target. com order that consisted of eBay cards and Disney cards? Is there a problem doing this? I don't want to send up any flags, but I only need $200 in Disney and could use some eBay, so thinking I can buy both in one transaction??

i think the problem is that they want to verify my account. I'm not sure why all of a sudden this is happening but I think it has something to do with gift card churning because I used my paypal acct to buy something last night and I've made a ton of ebay purchases recently. I'm not willing to upload my SS# and other documents so I guess I'm SOL

Have things changed on PP? When I had to verify my account, all I had to do was link a bank account to it and then go back to PP and enter the amount of the two small deposits they made. I never entered a SS# or provided other personal information other than my shipping address.

I can understand not wanting to provide personal information online. But being unverified will limit you as to the amount that you can spend/send via PP. I believe it's a "per month" limit and it's pretty low if you plan to do GC churning, even if you're paying with eBay GCs.

I didn't hesitate. Usually, I'd prefer to wait for a 4x or 5x, but I missed last week's 4x bonus because my cards were in transit so I have some make up to do. I churned through my wife's eBay account because her Bucks really need the catching up if we're both going to hit $500 this quarter, plus she had a $50 coupon from selling her first item to use before 5/16. It's also early on Monday, so there's a very good chance these cards will arrive by this weekend in time for any bonuses next week. I'm avoiding the GS/BB route for now because that means going through PPDGs. And then there's the issue of whether GCM will be able to keep the higher denominations in stock throughout the promo, unlike what happened last week. Anyway, thank you all for being my siren call on Bucks bonuses! I read it here first before ever getting an email or checking my eBay messages.

I haven't done it. Not for a lack of wanting to try it but because Target .com limits you to 4 Target GCs per order and I usually end up buying just the eBay or Disney GCs in a single order because of that limit.

I don't have my bank account tied to paypal and I noticed that they wanted the info back in 2014 and I never sent it. I've been able to use the account for purchases of goods through stores and ebay without an issue. I think because they see a new pattern of gift card purchasing they kind of locked it up.
I did it, now just waiting for them to say "ok, you're all set" LOL I hope its before the ebucks promo ends!

I ended up placing two orders of $600 so that they ship USPS. If all goes well, I tend to get those a day or two earlier than UPS since USPS delivers on Saturday and rerouting to the UPS Store usually adds a day. i have $900 due to arrive today but I don't think I'll rush to convert to try to get another order in before the bonus offer expires. Instead, I'll take my time converting to eBay this week. If today's orders arrive by the weekend, I'll convert then and hopefully be ready for another promotion next week.

BTW, I was watching the available quantity of $150 GC's drop quickly until they had only 2 left. I refreshed my screen and GCM had restocked and added over 460 more. It's nice that they are keeping an eye on it so they don't run out.

I have $275 in target gift cards. If I shop at Target and get 2 more $5 gift cards, and get the store to combine them, then I will have enough to buy $300 in ebay gift cards with 5% off. Thanking Heaven that Target has email delivery of these today! Adding that to the ebay cards I already have in hand will be a good day!

I can't be checking up on my ewards all the time but it is 1.5% + $5. I just checked Chase UR and they haven't brought back 1% Ebay portal. SW RR has .5pts (about 1%?) .
My Southwest Rapid Rewards account with 1pt/$. Bought Gamestop e-gc.

Ebates for eBay. I've never had a problem with it crediting and about 90% of my online shopping goes through ebates so it's easy to keep track of.

I'm avoiding the GS/BB route for now because that means going through PPDGs.

I ordered all the Target cards I wanted first. Then I held my breath and bought a $50 iTunes card (for $40 on sale) + a BB $50 card from PPDG. It went through fine. Not sure if its because they have made changes or if my small purchase amount didn't trigger the verification loop. I may try to order one more BB card tomorrow.
