A couple of data points for ebay gift card usage. During the 5x promo, I was able to use 11 gift cards once (and it would not take a 12th), and 13 gift cards another time. Another time, it only let me use 7, would not allow an 8th and so I had to use 1.95 out of my paypal. Weird, but oh well. Nothing like some inconsistency to keep things exciting....

With the new coupon code, I got an error that they were having technical difficulties with the first thing I tried to buy, and then that item was unavailable when I tried again, so I had to pay $4 more from someone else. Same gift cards, etc, worked fine the 2nd time. Again with the inconsistency.

Thanks for trying to track this. I had success yesterday using 15 gift cards in a single order, but once I added another, it would drop all the GCs and tell me I could not use PayPal as payment, so I would have to re-start the process.

I believe my other orders were at least 10 GCs each - I was having issues with PayPal in general yesterday (I kept being asked to verify my identity), so I decided not to continue to push my luck with the number of GCs I used.

Thanks for mentioning! I had virtually given up - logged out of eBay. Went BACK to Ebates and logged in again and tried the whole process over again and it worked! $100 Target gift card for $87.99 plus $2 in eBay Bucks and $.88 in my Ebates!

So you were using the 15 off 75, and it took it off more than once? So $15 off of every &75 spent?

No I was only able to use it once. I bought one $100 target giftcard. I kept getting errors with either the promo code or Paypal so I had to try multiple times to get it to go through .

@jaccceee SW is worth a shot, I forget about them too since their rewards are typically lower. It shows not eligible on GCs, but fingers crossed!

I'm going to try this some time. I have gone through SW before for eBay purchases, same payout, $.50 per dollar spent and it works for gift card purchases. I prefer Ebates to get the cash back, but if that dries up for me as it has for others then I would go back to using SW.

Did anyone get Ebates credit for buying the discounted Target GCs off Groupon a few weeks ago? Mine did not credit for that so not sure if I should open a ticket with them. I had the offer in my email and used the Ebates button.

Just saw that Verizon customers can earn points for gift cards. Since I don't use them, I haven't signed up & don't know which gift cards they have available, but I thought this might be helpful in churning for some members.

I ran into the same thing yesterday and the last time they had the 5x and 4x promos. For such a big name company and the business they do it just amazes me the number of problems with purchasing on their site.

Thanks for posting the code for $15 off $75, I just used it to buy a $100 target gift card for $87.99 C15LIMITEDTIME is the one I used, no glitches for me (for once).

Edited to add- I tried using the code in my new account tied to the same paypal account, and it would not allow it once I had logged into paypal. It looks like it might work if you have a separate paypal account though...

I tried a few times to buy a $25 and $50 best buy card. It failed to go through. Started over and bought a $100 Target gift card and it worked flawlessly.

Looking for advice - I have a rewards program through our landline company that I totally forgot about until someone mentioned the verizon option. Anyway, I just checked it out and I have enough points to cash out for $60!!! However, my only options are Amazon or Walmart. Are there any known paths I could take with either of these to get it into my churning fund?

I did it! Silly, but I'm so excited.

I had $100 in Target cards that I earned on Swagbucks. I purchased a $100 eBay card from Target for $95.00. I then used the coupon code (thanks for posting that!!) and purchased a $100 Target card for $87.99.

Figuring out how much I'm ahead is where it makes my brain hurt. If I have this right, I have $5 left on the original Target card, $12.01 left on the eBay card, and will have a $100 Target card when it arrives in the mail, so I'm ahead $17.01?

No I just have to figure out how to keep track of which cards have the little amounts left!

I know it's silly to be so excited about $17, but it's my first churn and I've made about a half a day's salary in about 15 minutes! The hundred took a while to add up, but the 17 was sure quick!

I use an excel spreadsheet to keep track of all of these little amounts. This helps me understand where all of my money is currently sitting, how much I have total and how much I have been saving. Another bonus is that once I created it, it does all of the math for me. You should develop a spreadsheet that works for your churning method.

That's a great idea. It looks like most of the cards say 1 year of simultaneous streaming for 2 tvs - $119.88 value. Is that what you got?
I wasn't sure what we had, so I signed into our account. We have that same package, but ours is showing up at $7.99 instead of the $9.99. I'm assuming that I can still use this on my account? I'm also assuming that in May (when it says our price is guaranteed through), ours will go up to the $9.99 per month.

I started the churning process over when we returned from our Disney trip in February. Since my first post-trip swagbucks cash out on 02/13, my numbers are looking pretty decent. Thus far I've invested $247.99 in cash and currently have $482.54 in gift cards (split between Target and Ebay) plus $73.00 in Ebay bucks. Considering I've only taken part in the two most recent ebucks promotions, I'm pretty satisfied with that. Wanted to start slowly to make sure I could get the process down before going all in....LOL. The more I get into this, the more I'm realizing the higher ebay bucks deals are so awesome. During my first churning process I was so focused on the 5% from Target that I totally missed out on ebay bucks.

Adding the GS step to my churning process is really sounding appealing (of course, only if they continue to allow this). I think I'll be calling my local GS soon to find out if they stock Ebay cards and whether or not they will allow me to use a gift card to pay. I feel like I've finally gotten the Ebay churning step down and I'm honestly kicking myself for not trying it sooner. Sure hope my local GS is in on this so I can try to add this extra step to maximize my earning potential during ebucks promotions.
