really dont think anyone needs more than one paypal account anymore. since no limit on gift cards. even having 2 ebay accounts isnt really needed. seems would be crazy hard to hit the 500 ebay bucks limit in a quarter.
$500 is very easy to get to. I Reached $500 in 2 months.

Anyone else having trouble checking out on Target.com? When I click to check out from my cart, I am getting an error. Wondering if anyone else is getting this or just me.

Boy, I think it's super easy to hit the $500 mark! I hit mine from like Jan 21st, I think, to I about the end of the first week of March, from the last 5x promo. If you churned a decent amount, say $1000 order, at a 4x or 5x offer, that'd be $80-$100 right there. Do that several times, add a few smaller promo offers even, or increase your churning amount, and boom, there you are at $500!

I've used TCB for most of my Ebay purchases of Target cards and it's worked great so far. Plus, I use Ebates for my Target purchasing of Ebay cards, and that keeps it separated a bit and doesn't load up one a bunch more. Don't know if that matters, and ebates worked good, too, but this is working good for me so far.

When you say you do a cut/paste of your order are you somehow only submitting the amount of your order and not what you ordered? Or are you getting ebates even though they see you only bought gift cards (an excluded item)?

Here's what the email I got said when I submitted a "where's my cash inquiry" for the target purchase I mentioned in my post you quoted.

"For this missing Cash Back, please send along the order confirmation (that includes an order number, products purchased, order date and price breakdown showing product total, shipping, tax and method of payment) so that we can look into this matter for you."

When I submitted the info they requested they only credited the clothes and stated the gift card wasn't eligible (which I expected).

Correct. I don't wait for the email I go directly into my target account, order, then cut paste order number and cut paste info on side which will say TOTAL 450 less 5 percent etc TOTAL 427.50 and I send this information.

@MarlaSingersLaundry and @DIS_MERI , you might want to edit your posts about referrals. We aren't allowed to ask for or post that kind of stuff here (see the sticky post at the top of the forum). The webmasters can get pretty cranky about it and if they're reading this thread, they won't be kind.

This looks like it is no longer happening. I placed 2 orders in the last 4 days and have not received credit for it at Mypoints. They credit after 24 hours, normally.
I don't think I missed an update from you, did you ever get credit on MyPoints for these 2 orders? Thanks

Thanks for looking out, Marionnette!

We won't bite, I promise! :goodvibes We just need everyone to follow the guidelines, that's all. ::yes::

Thank you all for the great saving tips/info here! I have been reading this thread for days and have a pretty good idea of how it works now. We have a trip planned for the end of October. I have a Target red card, use ebates and signed up for Ebay Bucks. I would like to have at least $1000 more by the time our trip comes by purchasing through Target/Ebay. What amount would you recommend starting with now?

The return on investment can vary so greatly! There is no way to tell how long you'd take to earn $1000. I started small, with a few hundred dollars. $300 is not a bad number to start with, that will get you 2 $150 Ebay gift cards and you'll pay $3.98 to ship ($2.99+.99), and you'll earn $3 in Ebates and $6 in Ebay bucks. That doesn't sound like much, but it's a start to get your feet wet.

Also, Ebay bucks offers are totally worth it (2x, 3x, 4x, 5x) so take advantage of those when you can. Those can really impact how much you're saving because you can go from earning $2 per $100, to $10 per $100!

If you start small then add some more gift cards as you become comfortable, you can start saving really quickly.

Thank you! I had $300 in my mind to begin and then wondered if that would get me close to my goal in time. We shall see :) I'm also using Shopkicks and Find&Save that I'll put towards more GCs as I earn.

How much seed money do you have?

JK. I tend to go conservative with my churning. I don't want to draw attention to myself and lose that 5% Target .com discount. If you're new to shopping at Target's online store or if your REDCard is new, start slow and buy $300 worth of eBay GCs to start. This will cost you $285 OOP and you should get $6 from ebates if you followed the recommendations on what to add to your order to qualify.

I would not wait for a good eBucks deal since the quarter ends on March 31. Turn those eBay GCs into Target GCs by purchasing 2 $150 Target GCs at GCM. You will pay another $3.98 for shipping but earn $6 in eBucks. You need a minimum of $5 eBucks to qualify for them at the end of the quarter. If the Target GCs arrive in time, do another churn prior to March 31 to add to your eBucks. Otherwise, you will be set to start churning for more eBucks starting in April.

After that, it's up to your level of comfort with the process and how much risk you are willing to take. Some people have gotten very good at churning between Target and eBay, maxing out their eBucks at $500 per quarter per account. I'm not that aggressive with my churning.

$300 is a good start! The more you "churn", the more you'll earn :) I don't think $300 will earn you $1000, that was just an example of a good starting place to learn.

For Ebay bucks, when a 5x (10%) offer rolls around, you can earn up to $100 per transaction (I think, someone correct me if I'm wrong here), So $1000 x 10% = $100 Ebay bucks. You can earn $500/quarter. So if you're churning $1000 through, earning $500/quarter, there's your $1000 that you're hoping to earn. Plus of course Ebates and all that. So there's an idea, too.

I do have a few hundred I can start with without dipping into "my own money". I've been selling some things on our community's online garage sale and have a stash there I can take from to start. :) I shop at Target in the store often - a few times a week, and Target online less often, but probably every couple months or so. I'll make my first ebay purchase today. I like your plan of trying to get in another turnover before March 31st. Thanks!

Agreed! A $300 "investment" will probably not net the PP $1K by their deadline, but it's a jumping off point. I think that you need to get comfortable with the process before you go all in.

@Marionnette - If I have less than $5 in Ebay Bucks before the end of the quarter, what happens to it? Does it roll into the next quarter or do I lose it?

I have $200 in ebay cards and just wondering if I should go ahead and use them now or wait until April. Thanks!

You lose it. It does not roll over into the next quarter.

Ebay bucks promotions will be sparse in April because it's a "spend" month, but you can definitely just go for the normal 2% any time. If I were a betting woman, I would say the last ebay bucks promotion of the quarter will be this week. I'm watching and hoping. :)
If there is one this week, and if you are included, even a 2x offer would get you over the $5 threshold.
