I'm still trying to perfect my system lol. I'm a little confused about the different cashback options available and preferred. Below is what I know (or think I know), the indented lines are unanswered questions. If you don't mind sharing, please add to, correct or provide your personal opinion on the info below:

does not work for Raise.com
requires specific purchases with the GC purchase at Target.com to get the 2%

I used Topcashback with my Raise purchase last Friday. It notes that I had a visit to Raise, said it had 6 clicks, but no purchase amount noted, and no cash back yet, though I thought I remembered that it took like week. This was my first time using, so don't know for sure. It does list Target gift cards as getting a 1.1% back, so hopeful it will still show up! I did use it last week during the 3x ebay bucks deal at Ebay last week and it worked!

So what are good cheap items to add to a target order to get the ebates cash back? It seems very hit and miss on that. last time I ordered three different shirts with the order and only got cash back from one of the orders. I want to mix it up a bit as not to cause suspicion.

I added a package of post it notes for $2 last time and the order did count at Ebay so far. I had a second order for the second half of my Target cards, and used a pack of glue sticks. That order did not get anything from ebates, though I don't think it was because of the item. I did sign out of Target and open another Target link but guess that didn't help. But, it did record my visit but doesn't show a purchase for the second order. Next time, I'm gonna sign out of both ebates and Target and see if that helps at all, or maybe wait a bit longer in between rather than doing one after the other. Oh, have also used socks, and gloves.

Hope it does all work out. That is strange!

I ordered one $200 eBay GC today from Target. I put $11.89 on my Redcard and rest was covered by gift cards. I received the order confirmation at 1:20pm but still have not received the GC which is weird. No cancellation though either. I have not ordered a GC from Target in about a week.

My last ebay cards I bought at Target to try to do the Ebay with the 3x offer, I was waiting for the email with the codes as it said they had shipped. I didn't wait very long though, before I went to targetecards because that's where I finally found them last time after waiting several days and they weren't showing up! And there they were, so glad I checked early instead of waiting for days!

My gut tells me there was somebody flagged as a reseller who dumped all their inventory on Gift Card Zen awhile back. Those unfortunate enough to purchase those tainted cards also got flagged. It appears to be a localized phenomenon in that all the people I've heard of getting banned recently all bought gift cards from this one 3rd party exchange and only around a certain time frame. It does not appear to me to be correlated to how the cards were used, nor to whether rebate sites were used or not.

Proof, I have none yet, but the little evidence we have points this way to me.

@chmasy - have you been able to use your Gift Card Zen-purchased Target cards in store?

I don't do the raise/gift card zen/whatever discount step because I use my swagbucks and now perk. But people should spread out purchases, use things other than just the rulers, and NEVER ask customer service about these things! Don't draw attention to yourself.

I'm going to try to buy Disney probably this weekend I will post what happens hopefully it works if not I'll use in store for 11% off better than red card .I'll just use gift cards and get rid of red card.

Just wanted to update....

I was able to go in on the desktop version of Target.com and order a $200 eBay card and a $50 Disney card. Both with discounts and both paid for with Target gift cards. So far for some reason I am still unable to pay with gift cards on the Target app. Yet I still get the 5% discounts applied on the app.

I don't know what is up, but it makes me nervous. Ok, I have got to go to bed now.

That's pretty much how I use Swagbucks/Perk; and yes it is nice to know the gift cards we are awarded this way are "clean". But the other benefit, and probably the best benefit is that there is no cash outlay from me to get them. I won't say they are FREE because I do work to earn the Swagbucks/Perk but they don't cost me any cash.

I don't generally churn those, but I could. For example, I earn Swagbucks, cash out for a WalMart card and then use it to buy discounted Disney Cards at Sam's Club. I could do the same at Target.

Hmm, that is curious. GCM's site on eBay says signature for $250 and over.

When I purchased my item, it said "US MAIL DELIVERY" so I assumed that to be USPS not UPS. The tracking number they provided me was UPS.

Yes, I think on ebay it always says USPS for GCM, but it you check the tracking number it actually is UPS. I've ordered both over and under 250.00 The over 250 always comes UPS with signature required and the under 250 come USPS.

I got credit for my Ebates/Target order that was cancelled yesterday. Close to $8. Not that I'm complaining but don't want any problems with Target.

Side note: for those concerned about having to sign for UPS, if you have an account online (easy to set up) you can "sign" for your package online. That's of course if you feel comfortable doing that.

Yes, I get about $300 a month from swagbucks, perk, shopkick etc. I used to redeem the first swagbucks as target because it is discounted and the rest PayPal to buy discounted target cards. Then churn from there to get more bang for my buck. Lately I've just been doing all target to skip the discount sites just in case. The benefit of using those sites is that even though I do spend time getting those rewards, I don't spend any of my regular income.

My purchase from GCM is being delivered today also! Coming UPS. My dh went on last night and signed for it. BUT...we do this every time and yet, the UPS driver still rings the doorbell and waits for me to sign...So, not sure why that does not work at our house lol.

I don't know about USPS but UPS it's not under the shipping info - you actually have to sign up for a UPS account online to sign for it. Is that what you mean?

Jump on the sb thread if you haven't already. That's where I learned almost everything. I make about $100/month but with working full time and running the kids to activities at night I'm very happy with that.

I have been on that thread (and will continue checking in) and I've read through a ton. I am just limited I think since I don't have a smartphone. One of the posters recommended a couple to me but I've not been able to find a good deal on them so I've not bought one yet. I try to run videos on my laptop but it literally brings my laptop to a screeching halt.

The most points are from surveys but I am getting DQ'ed from most of those now. I would be thrilled with $100 a month too!
