Disney Gift Card Deals

Okay, on my phone I went to Safari, went to Target.com, logged into my account, and went to gift cards. I see where you can add a gift card. But how do you combine them?

Eta: just realized I didn't use my phone number and pin, I used my target login and password. Where do you put the phone number and pin?

From the mobile website (m.target.com), select the menu icon, then go to "my mobile gift cards" or try this link:
https://m-secure.target.com/giftcards/sign-in?lnk=mobile_giftcards

If you signed up long enough ago, it will ask for your phone number and PIN. Apparently this only works for people who signed up long enough ago and haven't converted to a strictly email login. I'm a little curious to test if it worked if I converted, but too afraid to lose my ability to combine cards to actually do it.

Long shot...but I'll give it try. Anyone know of Targets in the SF Bay Area that might have $25 cards?

I'm from the North side of the East Bay, and I know Pinole, Albany, Richmond, and Walnut Creek had them. Stock is a different question. But I have no doubt in my mind that they are restock a lot.

Thank you so much! It worked.

I've been to or called all the stores in Austin, TX and they are all cleaned out of $25s. :(

Went to my target today. Closest one to me is 30 miles away. I have never seen $25 Disney gift cards stocked there but they had plenty of $50 ones. I bought $1500 worth - no problem - no limit that I was told of. I also stocked up on groceries with my 20% off Black Friday coupon.

Well shucks. I bought $50s thinking the $25 wouldn't work. Though they were out of $25 anyway. Looks like I will check back tomorrow!

I went today and they must've had $3000 worth of the $25 gift cards. I only needed $700 so picked them up and went to the register. No problem on the cashier's end when I went to pay but the register wouldn't take my debit red card. It kept saying I had to call the # on the back. A very nice manager came over and tried again with the same result. He ended up giving me the 5% red card discount and had me put it on my credit card instead. I left and called the # on the back of my debit card. The lady told me that it was too high a purchase ($670) since I'm new and have only used my red card 4 times so far. The last purchase I made was last Thurs for $500. She tells me that she can't tell me what my limit is but "should be ok" under $300. I have $9000 in the checking account so that was not an issue. The person I spoke with on the phone says that when the debit card gets used, they can't verify funds so until they actually process and post the charge, they don't know if there's enough money to cover it. That doesn't seem right to me. Last week my $500 purchase went through fine. I was so frustrated and asked to speak to a supervisor. She put me on hold for about 5 minutes and then I got disconnected. I am going to call back tomorrow. The store was beyond nice about it but the Red Card # was beyond. She couldn't tell me what an acceptable purchase amount was and when I asked how I'd know if a purchase was too much — she said to try it and see if it goes through. Seriously?!?

I went to Target today and asked them to look up the DPCI for the $25 cards. Their inventory said that tey had 42 of them, but no one could find them. so, I asked for the $5 gift card for every $50 card that I bought. They did it. My rationale was that, the only reason that I couldn't buy them was because they misplaced them. They agreed. I was very nice, as was the guy who helped me. It took 5 minutes out if my life. It was worth it.

Did you use a credit card with a rewards program? If your CC recognizes it as a qualifying purchase, you can technically earn rewards point and keep the 5% Target Card discount. I would be ecstatic if it worked out.

EDIT:
I was walking through Target today for my lunch break and I noticed my Target also has $25.00 eBay card. I wonder if this promotion would work on that too. 2x $25.00 eBay Card for essentially $45.00, which totals to 10% off. More than the typical 5% Redcard online. And continue to churn to Target via eBay, ebay bucks, and GCM. I didn't want to try because I already burned my Target GC funds for Disney GCs.

Called my Target last night they had $25 in stock, didn't decide we were taking this vacation for sure until this morning, dashed over to Target- they were cleaned out. Target in the town over also cleaned out, target on the otherside of town had some. Ended up cleaning out the 13 they had left and getting 50s. Glad to get a little extra at least. Did it at the customer service counter to ask and see if we could get the manager to honor $5 card for a $50 purchase since they had the $25s but no dice, didn't hurt to ask. Well, it almost did- I had a trainee who wasn't sure we could get that many promo gift cards and she had the manager come over who went back to verify it was all allowed before they scanned anything. He came back and said there was no limit but as he left he turned around and told us we couldn't purchase gift cards with the promotional cards we were receiving. I knew the computers would let us so we ended up back at our original Target store with a mongo stack of $5 cards and grabbed some $50 Disney gift cards and headed to self check out. Loved it! We scanned two $50 Disney and it told us to scan a target card from a stack above the register and voila we had $5 promo card. We then paid for it $5 at a time with our previously issued promo target cards, no issues. Well, it was a little funny standing there scanning all those gift cards, especially when I asked the clerk if they recycled old gift cards and he said yes and I handed over the stack!

Interesting thought!

Is there a way to combine all my $25 & $50 gift cards onto one? I don't want to loose them!
I also booked my vacation through a travel agent. How do I use these to pay for my vacation now???

Two options: Disneygiftcard.com to combine. Or open a Disney Vacation Account. You can give the TA the new gift card number if you combine. If you open a vacation account, you call that in yourself (it's easy).

I used my disney visa card so should get 2% in rewards for it also. It ended up being better but I held up the line for so long and it kept rejecting my debit card. The looks people were giving me made me feel bad. The store employees were great though.

Except that eBay limits the number of cards you can use in a single transaction to 8. So that would mean you could only churn $200 at a time, which would drive up your shipping costs. You'd still come out a little ahead, but not by as much.

How do you get 2% I thought Chase coded Target as non grocery.

Went today and bought $200 worth of Disney $25 GC. They weren't signed but prompted the GC. Tried buying some other brands as well, you cannot mix and match. I tried buying an ITunes and Starbucks and that didn't prompt the GC, must be bought in increments of two of the same.

I was able to mix and match at my target. I got three Starbucks, two iTunes and one amc.
