I saw that one. It's one time use though, right? I now live in CO so I'd need to see if I can get my mom to go by HEB for me.

Thank you all for such awesome ideas. I've been lurking this thread on and off for a LONG time. Question: have any of you ever shipped a Disney gift card from target to a Disney resort? I ordered a card on Black Friday and it came Wednesday this week. I got $85 worth of target cards now ($60 promotional), and I want to get next weeks gift card deal with target. But we leave for our trip on December 14 and arrive at our resort on December 17. I'm nervous we are cutting it close, but I'm also a bit nervous about the restrictions on the promotional card. I entered it in my giftcard app and it has all the same kind of numbers as my others did (I've been using target gc to buy Disney since last year), but I wonder if they get more strict at this time of year...maybe I'm just overthinking it?

I would not have gift cards shipped to your resort. We have had items we had shipped to the resort get lost.

Next week's deal begins on the 7th. Why not just go into the store? It most likely will not be online anyways.

That's what I will most likely do. I've never had problems using a target gift card to buy Disney before, but I have this nagging idea that they might actually start enforcing rules this time of year, especially given the promotional card says it can't be applied to prepaid cards

By the way, not Disney related per se, but coupons.com has a $7 off2 packages of schick razors coupon and the Quattro 3 packs are presently $5.39. I used my Black Friday coupon, red card and the $7 coupon together. Less than $2 for both packs!! That was the highlight of my day

My advice would be to call other Targets near you to find one that does. Keep in mind that Target has Disney GCs at multiple locations in their stores, and usually they are the $50 or $100 variety. So some employees will just put you on hold, find the nearest Disney GC and make a declaration that that's all they carry. One Target I went to had Disney GCs at all 30 or so registers. There were $25 GCs on only one of them. Just keep looking.

But the site seems to indicate that these H-E-B gift cards are only valid online. Be sure to report back if that's not actually the case. I was very close to checking out with a few of them before I saw that restriction.

If you go to HEB.com and enter in the gift card information, you get:

"Your Gift Card Balance is: $21.00
Use your Gift Card online or at a store near you today.
"

That being said, I put the gift card into my gyft app and the HEB scanners couldn't read it, and when they typed it in, the value didn't come up (I was just trying to buy a bag of chips to test it out). There is a slight chance the gift card wasn't activated yet, but more likely I am not using it right.

I think the problem is they tried to run it as a Digital electronic gift card instead of just entering the number as a physical gift card, which it actually is.

Can I load/buy a Target pre-paid AMEX with my PayPal debit card (earning 1%) and use it to buy the (2) $50 Disney gift cards?

I'm wondering because I have about $700 in my PayPal account and I'd like to get some Disney gift cards ASAP. If I load $475 onto the pre-paid AMEX, then I can apply the 5% RedCard discount and buy $500 worth of Disney gift cards, and then receive another $25 in Target gift cards, which I can then use to buy another $25 Disney gift card. That amounts to about a 10% savings, but I could also add the $25 Target gift cards to my current online card and use it to buy a larger denomination card online, thus saving a little more.

Are you wanting to do this in store or online? We don't know if the promo will be available online. My guess is no. In the store, you would not receive the 5% redcard discount if paying with a prepaid AmEx.

I checked with someone before attempting to purchase, since I don't want to hold up a line at the register.....I bought $1,200 worth of Disney cards! Used my REDcard and got 5% off....then got $120 worth of Target gift cards, which I used to purchase more Disney gift cards!!

Makes me want to check out other Targets in my area!

Can you buy a pre-paid amex with a debit card? Sure.
Will you get the 5% RED card discount when you use the pre-paid AMEX? I'm not so sure about that.

Way to go! I was only able to snag $550 worth between 2 stores. I wound up getting $55 off in coupons and a $10 Target GC in addition to the 5% off - that's a savings of 2 pre-park BOG breakfasts for our September trip!

I am debating next week's GC deal. Since raise and cardpool discounts have been so low, it's tempting just to be done with it.

I end up with a lot of $5 eBay gift cards so I just combine them by purchasing $15 or $25 eBay gift cards. I have had zero issues doing this. Someone else will have to speak to the limits on gift cards as I have had no issues.

It's a nice deal. Just in time for my trip. I just went again tonight and bought 14 more ($350 worth) for $299.25 (14.5% off) as they just didn't even bother to issue $5 Target cards to me, instead just taking $35 off the $350 and then I used my RedCard.

I am up to $1700 in gift cards loaded onto just 2 cards for our week long trip (no pre-paid Dining Plan). Probably time to start slowing down .

And this language makes it even more crazy that they In some cases aren't honoring the deal on $25 Disney gift cards this week (i.e., they did not say any gift cards shown in the current deal).

You're asking if you can load your Target Amex Redcard via Paypal, right? That answer is no. However...why not simply transfer the cash in your paypal account to your bank account, then withdraw the cash and load it onto your Redcard in the store. Then, you CAN use the Target Amex Redcard to receive 5% off your purchase.
