So the Target 20% of one transaction coupon that we can get on Black Friday, I can't find the fine print on the 20% part. Can we buy Disney Entertainment Cards with that? They did a similar thing a couple years ago. I forget if that one worked on Disney cards.

It did not work in 2013 and it is most likely not going to work this year. Exclusions will probably be gift cards, Apple products, video games, some video game consoles and Legos.

People, please do not try to argue with Target that Disney gift cards are "entertainment cards" and not "gift cards"!!!

The average Target team member couldn't care less about the distinction and will just point out that the Disney gift card says GIFT CARD on them. Please DO NOT elevate this to management. I remember two years ago, some people on these boards were so desperate that they get a discount that didn't apply, they made such a scene until some gullible managers had to override their system. For whatever reason, Target allows the discounts that we've all had the benefit of using. If the 20% off coupon doesn't apply (and very likely won't), DO NOT try to argue otherwise or don't be surprised if Target removes any discounts to gift cards and entertainment cards.

No. And you couldn't two years ago either, but some folks whined enough that some employees overrode the system.

No but the wording is pretty explicit. They seem to be excluding gift cards as a rule these days. I've had a few 5% red perks discounts from the red perks app and those exclude gift cards.

When did you get access to the Red Perks app? I think I tried to sign up for it or something before and it said it wasn't available in our area. Since you're nearby, maybe I need to check again.

Yes, I tried it when we moved two years ago and I had that coupon. It did not work on Disney gift cards. And imo, Target has only gotten more strict with their coupons excluding gift cards.

Thank you wendow. And as mentioned earlier, the language is pretty explicit against gift cards and even entertainment cards. But sometimes things work anyway. Now I know to not even try it.

How is ebay setting the price rather than the seller? I'm new to this GC thing and so far, I've only ever bought Target GC from Gift Card Mall on ebay.

It will all depend on any limits involved, but the Gamestop is a 16.6% discount, while Target is just 7.5% discount. Either way, there would probably be at least one churn to eBay then Target and out to Disney for me. Depends how fast they go too.

Didn't think about the limit. I may end up with some of each. Were 90 days out so by Jan 20(ish) I want to have all my cards converted to Disney cards.

Ebay only. I had good success using multiple GS cards to combine into one large EBay card. (They sell set your amount eBay cards at my GS.)

I'm with you. I just hope we don't get to Wednesday night, and the Target deal is only active between 3 and 4am on Thursday morning. After all, they say new deals every hour starting midnight eastern time.
