Funny, I was there Wednesday as well. I found some loadable cards on the rack all the way down past the registers (close to pharmacy), but they were almost out. I need to go back either Mon or Tues for more. I haven't been to Short Pump or Gaskins yet, but I may have to.

No. And you couldn't two years ago either, but some folks whined enough that some employees overrode the system.

It wasn't about whining. Called the corporate help line, and they confirmed it was an 'entertainment card'... they honored it if you asked. no one seemed to care that i got a discount. not sure why that was a bad thing???? - and for it's worth (coming from the store and corporate): the deal prohibitted the purchase of TARGET GIFT CARDS, not others stores.

No, it excluded all gift cards, regardless of how they coded them for inventory. Shortly thereafter, they stopped honoring the 5% prescription coupons on gift (or "entertainment") cards without changing any of the exclusions listed. It was practically a direct result of people forcing the discount through.

For anyone that has a Giant Eagle around them,

They're currently offering a $10 coupon for every $100 you spend on retailer giftcards. That coupled with the fuelperks you can get as high as 16% savings overall.

The deal goes through Black Friday I think.

Stop & Shop is offering the same deal. (I think they are owned by the same company as Giant.) My store's ad says the deal is good through 12/3 and the $10 off coupon expires on 12/31. My store had a huge display of GCs when I was in there yesterday but I didn't see any Target or eBay so I didn't buy. They did have Disney cards but I was hoping to churn through another store for a higher % off.

Does Staples, Best Buy, or GameStop carry Target or eBay cards and let you use another GC to pay for them? Stop & Shop had all of those cards available in both set amounts and loadable.

I read here (unless I dreamed it?) about ebay's Black Fri and Cyber Mon deals. Something about $100 Target GC being $85. True? How does this work? How is ebay setting the price rather than the seller? I'm new to this GC thing and so far, I've only ever bought Target GC from Gift Card Mall on ebay.

eBay doesn't set the Black Friday deals are from sellers and eBay hosts and promotes them.

So will Ebay list the times of each deal sometime Wednesday night??? or do we need to stalk the computer each hour to see what deal pops up?? That would be horrible and not sure if it would be worth the discount...

Most deals are either random or released early in the morning and then are good until sold out.

Just an FYI.

DH and I just went to Target Pharmacy for our flu shots on Friday. The pharmacist said that the rewards program is ending at the end of this year due to their transition to CVS pharmacies taking over in stores. She said that everyone that is a pharmacy rewards member would be getting one last 5% certificate some time in December, whether you hit the 5 prescriptions or not, as a thank you.

I've been checking daily in hopes they'll get at least the $50 back in stock. Still, I decided to go ahead and buy the $25 in order to take advantage of the 5X ebay bucks. i was holding on to my ebay GC for the Black Friday $200 for $185 deal, but there seems to be too many unknowns. Like what time they'll offer the $200 GC and if you can buy more than one. I opted for the sure thing now and got my $60 in ebay Bucks. Plus, Ebates is again offering 1% on Gift Cards and Coupons so that's another $6.00. Subtracting the shipping charges, I'll net $40 on this cycle.
