Wow. Everyone killed the deal already. I am greatful that ppl post deals but when ordering some may try and kill it immediately without even thinking
Rule#1- don't combine Target gift cards that have been used to place orders until you are sure your orders have shipped. You will have to call, and they will issue your refund onto a new Target gift card. They can't "un-force close" a gift card.So all of my $50 cards have shipped, but the $100 one I ordered yesterday was cancelled. I don't think the $90.25 was put back on the Target gift card yet. I tried to combine it with my main card I keep for combining, and it's telling me there is nothing to combine. I'm guessing there is some delay for putting the funds back? At least it's just 1 card to keep track of that should be refunded.
Edit: I tried adding the gift card to the Target mobile site just to see if it would show me the history and it gives me this "giftcard in force closed status". I guess I first used the $90.25 then combined the balance online. I'm noticing that other cards that I combined the balance give the same message, but cards that I used fully will add to my account and show a $0 balance with history available. Has anybody encountered this? Target has to refund me for the order they cancelled. Am I going to have to call to get the card un-force closed?

I checked my order status online earlier and three of my six orders have been cancelled. I only have a refund back on one on my Target e-gift card right now. I haven't touched them since I placed the orders Friday so if the money isn't fully refunded by tomorrow I might need to call as well. I'm still waiting to see what happens to my other three orders as still no shipping or cancellation emails have been received. I see that someone ordered 67 cards...no wonder they ran out and stopped the offer. That is wonderful that they were able to save that much money, but unfortunately if many people ordered quantities like that, the rest of us lose out. I guess I will have to finish ordering my cards and be happy with the 14% off I get. I was trying to save enough to take my grandson on his first trip, but I guess I will have to work some more overtime instead.
I called Target just to find out when they would have the card in stock again, not asking about any coupons or anything, and they said that the gift cards will be back in stock on Weds.
Well, my lousy (1) order for giftcard with the discount code got cancelled :-(
So either it got cancelled because they are out of stock, or it got cancelled because they got on to us and we were not supposed to use the discount code on disney gift cards

I don't fault people for wanting to maximize their savings. But I do believe that when you place 60+ orders in a very short period of time, it brings the loophole in the offer to the attention of a company's loss prevention division. Unlike you, I do not feel that it's only a matter of waiting until they have more Disney GCs in stock. The offer no longer works for any other GCs that are still in stock on the Target website. It won't work for Disney GCs when they get more of them.Even if the Paypal offer goes away (which I think is awesome) you can still get the "Raise.com" discount (or other sites discount) on target cards and, at least currently, get the 5% for the red card. This is still an awesome deal.
For those complaining about others who made large orders, all I have to say is that I don't fault them for trying to maximize their benefit. I did not get to order ANY cards yet because I am still waiting on my "Red Card" to get "approved" and/or mailed to me. Am I upset that I was not able to get an awesome deal? Sure, but that's life. Another awesome deal will show up at some point. It's that whole "Early bird gets the worm" thing.
I also don't think the deal is "Dead" (so to speak) rather I think they just "Sold Out" and need to get more to fulfill the orders. I am sure it will be back up in full force soon enough. So to all.... Save On!![]()
