Disney Gift Card Deals

I ordered 4 orders of 3-$100 Disney gift cards for a total of $1100 (last order was just 2) ordered them all within minutes of each other. Didn't order anything else and got them all. This was about 2 weeks ago for them in the mail this Monday. I have always ordered them this way. My largest one day orders was $3000 broken into 10 - 3 card orders. Never had a problem. Are you saying if I do this now I will get flagged and banned from target.

Quite possibly. Target isn't messing around and you are ordering a large amount of GCs in very short time spans - 10 orders of the maximum number in a single day!!!!

We have had reports of people being banned from Target.com for the last 6 months or so.

Target actually changed their terms on their website (I want to say maybe March 17th-ish if my memory serves me correctly). After that was when we saw the crackdown on "resellers". Prior to that date, I bought a ton off Target - multiple daily orders, no problem. Now, people have been banned for a lot less.

The "reseller" bans actually went into effect shortly after the Lilly Pulitzer fiasco back in 2015. They have been more aggressive about it with respect to GCs within the last 6 months.

Well I guess I will need to break up my orders and try and order 3 cards at a time every other day or so. I will defiantly not buy $1000 worth of gift cards from Raise or carpool at one time anymore. I guess if they banned me I could always use the cards in store to get the Disney cards just won't get the extra 5% off.

I wonder if they do a little research or just automatic. I have never sold anything on eBay, Craig's list, or anything like that. Just this year I have order over 4K worth of gift cards and never had a problem.

True, but we didn't start seeing the bannings from buying gift cards until Target changed their terms on the website earlier this year (it was actually January 13th).

Just a heads up target on1/13/16 changed it terms and conditions .scroll down to limitations on quantity and read .They told me after 1 hour and 3 supervisors I can no longer shopping on line only in store. They told me that I bought too many gift cards.and said I was a Reseller.

How vague! And over only $1500 worth..? Will be interesting to see if they impose this on others too, or if you just caught an unlucky break. That really stinks.

I would not establish a pattern either. From what has been reported, once you are banned, there is NO appeal or reversal. Its up to you to determine how much is worth the risk.

Do you have a spreadsheet that you love? I have seen a few, and I am not really keeping tracking great right now, although I dont even have much in the game right now...but would love to see what your spreadsheet looks like.

I do not. Mine is functional, but far from being simple and easy-to-understand - definitely not shareable quality! Maybe someone else would be willing to share. The problem is that everyone churns differently. Some people use points /rebates programs - mpoints, swagbucks, perk, ebates. Some people use grocery fuel points. Then some may track CC rewards. So many variables to keep track of...

I've ordered $2700 in gf's from target in the last week and a half and received all of them but $200 worth (which were actually shipped but I received something else and not my (4) 50 gc I ordered). I did however order a few regular items with most of my orders and even a few larger items (a Fitbit and a changing table/dresser combo). 95% of what I purchased was done using gift cards for target that I purchased at Kroger (using my Amex). I need $2000 more so hopefully I will be able to continue to do so but I want to make sure they will make right the $200 I didn't receive in what I ordered and thought I should take a few days break.

I'm comfortable ordering $300-$500 /month. No way would I be ordering every other day. But I'm risk averse and don't want to be banned.

Somewhat. They keep saying that it can't happen due to the system they have but I absolutely received hair clips in the package instead of my (4) 50 gift cards. I have even started recording when I open any other envelopes from them just in case. I spoke with 3 people and the last one I talked to was supposed to call me back on Friday but he didn't. I'm going to give him till noon tomorrow and call back. Thankfully it's only been on 1 order and all the others (most with a higher dollar amount) have all made it fine.

I don't know whether the Target website (which I now DESPISE, btw) is being super weird or what but the only thing I can find as far as Disney GC's is the $100 one with no reviews and NO option for in-store pickup.

There is no option for store pick up for Disney gift cards. That is not new. You can buy in store but not by ordering online for store pick up.
