Disney Gift Card Deals

Anyone else having an issue with their Disney gcs? I am trying to combine cards but the website keeps giving me an error message. I am also trying to buy Christmas party tickets and am getting an error when trying to use a gc.

Also, could a "how to for dummies" info thread be started?? Or is there already such a thread/post?

Start from thread 530 or so. There is no easy way to learn.

When Target cancels part of your order (sunscreen not gc's), are the funds placed back on the gc and will that be be in my "saved" balances on Target.com? Sorry, I only have a phone to figure this out and it's acting wonky.

I just went thru this last week with an order where part of it had been canceled. I waited 48 hours before contacting Target because the funds were never returned to my account. It took an hour and two calls but the money was back on the original GCs immediately afterwards and they were stored in my Target account.

Well this will be my last post for 2 weeks, since im leaving for Disney world tomorrow(1 week in Florida area and one for Disney world)

since i started here around September started with $1500 and added $1000 over time.

my grand total ended up with...

$1700 Southwest gift cards

$3000 Disney gift cards(dad is retired military so he bought the park tickets)

$500 Choice Hotel gift cards

$500 miscellaneous gift cards.

$1000 random ebay stuff i bought for myself

so saved a whole bunch of money for my families trip so thanks everyone
remember i started with two ebay and paypal accounts so my results are not the norm

ps have 400 in ebay bucks, 900 target gift cards and 650 in ebates left over to start for my next trip.

You are my idol!!! I am just starting out, and I have more time to save up for Disney, but if I am almost as successful as you, I should be able to get the vacation I want without asking my husband to dig into savings. That would be awesome.

I think that ending up with more than one kind of card also helps keep the watchdogs at bay, since you are less likely to look like a reseller. I will definitely add that to my plan. Thank you for posting this!

I have been taking a pic with my phone so I can zoom in and read the stupid teeny tiny codes and have a record of them also.......

Instead of taking a picture, I use the magnifying glass app on my phone. I was feeling old for not being able to read these, so I am now happy I have company!

I have that problem too. I'll walk into a target and think, okay, shoot, where is x in this one? Because all 4 of them are laid out differently.

I use one of those too! But I downloaded an app that uses the zoom on the camera, and it sometimes works better, since there is a built in light (from the flash).

I got mine yesterday from Monday's sale. GCM seems to be moving faster the last couple of orders I started converting mine to eBay last night. More to do today and I'm going to do some in store also.

Has anyone returned an item to Target that you ordered online (with GC's) and received ebates credit? I have become bored with school supplies and one of my dd's is about to turn 16yo so I have been ordering her b-day gifts. I ordered a pack of tsum tsum's and my other dd said they aren't the right ones. So, I need to return and just wondering if I will lose my ebates. Not a big deal if I do but just curious.

Lucky! Even though the tracking number for my Monday order showed up that night, it didn't actually start moving until 8pm last night. It isn't scheduled for delivery until next Monday.

SO QUICK. I just checked & mine are in Pittsburgh which usually means they'll be delivered tomorrow. I ordered Tuesday.
